Leader's Dilemma in War Participants

Hi Supercell

I just want to let you know that as a leader of my clan you have put me or the other leader in a dilemma on who to choose to join when starting a clanwar , when you take out the 45 x 45 clan war and 35 x 35 clanwar size . Because we are a active clan we use to be always full , so what if, one of our old players wanted to take a break , it could means that 9 players might be out of the war even if they want to. and you know that some of the players are quite bit emotional when you dont include them . but whats our choice as a leader? The problem is you also give us the choice to choose on who to join and whose not. For this I would like to make a suggestion for the clanwar search. What if you supercell choose on who to join the war base on who are the players who wanted to join the war offcourse who put their account out will be automatically out . For example we have 50 members and out of it 1 account doesnt want to join so you will be the one to decide on who will be the 9 out for a 40 x 40 clan war as per your matchmaking. Its like we just submit the people who wanted to join but you decide on who will be in clanwar for the nearest possibble clanwar size. and also decide on what size of clanwar it will be. For this i believe a leader will be relief of his dilemma. I hope you can hear my thoughts .

And lastly i would like to give you a feedback on your latest clanwar matchmaking just after the updates (march 2016) . I just want to say that we havent get any fairness with our matchup ! our highest townhall in the clan is Townhall 9 , how can we win if you you will always give us an opponent who have th10 and 11. wherein we dont have a chance to get a 3 stars from it. So in the end we always lost because of this matchup. My suggestion is pls make the highest townhall of the searcher to be the same with the highest townhall of the opponent. Townhall Level must be the same in other words.

I believe lower townhall level dont have a chance to make 3 star a higher townhall level specially if they are both max in their respective Townhall level.

Interesting idea. That sounds a lot like the way they used to make the teams, when war first came out. I'm a leader also, and when ppl get emotional about not being in war, I demote or kick them. Those are not the people we want on the team. War is a team effort and the player has to have the clan's best interest in mind, not their own selfish desire.

My members trust me. They know that if they're not in war it's for a good reason that is for the best of the clan.
Example:
Our most recent war included 3 th10 with some th9's and 8's. There is one other guy in our clan aside from me who is a th11 but he was not upset to be not included in the war because he understood that it would give us a poor match.

You're the leader! Be firm but fair and don't accept a bad attitude.
If someone gives you trouble because you made a choice that was for the best interest of the clan, that person doesn't care about the clan.

Yep, posted the same thing when the update was proposed. It is a bit annoying now to choose a lineup but a good chief will be assimilated into the supercell collective. Resistance is futile.

+ 1 to this. Ideal time to do some pruning and/ or it is a motivation to show war attack competence so as to be in the war line up

You could always include a couple of opt outs, and carry harder.

I definitely wouldn't want algorithms deciding on who goes and who stays when it comes to war comp. I'm fine with choosing who participates in war and who doesn't.
