Laboratory glitch / Troop levels higher than should be

This would be great news. Of course, I have no idea what level 5 archers really fight like because I had only been using level 3 archers. Going up to the level 5 archers showed tremendous increase in DPS and Hit points, but maybe that is just how much better level 4 archers are compared to level 3. So, if the problem is merely graphical, I can expect the same DPS and HP, just with a different looking archer. Would be cool!

Dear Supercell,
I have been playing Clash of Clans for a few months now, and I finally came around the time where I upgraded my archers from level 3 to level 4. After the 3 days it took to upgrade to level 4, I checked it and it seemed to skip level 4 and go directly to level 5. My in-game username is DWAAAAA and I just wanted to let you guys know so I don't get my account banned or anything. If you need to downgrade the archers for me that won't be a problem I just don't wan't my account taken away.

There will be no punitive action taken against you - it's a glitch that we think MIGHT be related to an ongoing upgrade during a maintenance break. It is not influenced by a player in any way. I'm going to merge this into the bigger thread about it, but as you will see, you're not alone.

I want to report that my archers are bugged; my town hall is level 5 and my laboratory is level 3. I tried to upgrade my level 2 archers to level 3 but they seem to have jumped to level 5. I want to report this before I get into any trouble. Thanks in advance.

Phew! Thanks for the quick reply! I have my level 2 goblins in research process, I'll let you guys know if it also jumps levels.

Edit: I will admit that these level 5 archers are super strong and fun! I've been up for 24+ hours raiding, farming, and upgrading.



Goblins did not jump level, they are level 3.

The glitch has been there for months.

It has been getting more attention recently, so I'm not sure if it has gotten worse or what.
