Welcome to my guide on the clan castle! Many clashers out there don't understand the importance of the clan castle. But hopefully today, you will change your mind.
Now, why is the castle so important? Well, it contains troops which were donated by clan members! You'd probably think that it'd be so awesome if you had a P.E.K.K.A. or a golem in your castle. Well, no it wouldn't be awesome. Those big monsters are so slow, that they really aren't useful for a defense.
But what troops are good to keep inside a clan castle? I'm going to make a list of the top 3 defenders in a clan castle. These are really well defenders for your base, and I highly suggest you use them...
Top 3 Clan Castle Defenders
1. Wizards - Wizards are tremendously good, because they do splash damage, handling more than one troop at a time!
2. Archers - Archers are very good defenders, because they can battle from far distances and kill troops very quickly.
3. Minions - Minions are useful, because they are flying troops. They cannot be attacked by some ground troops like barbarians.
The reason why all of these troops are good, is because they can attack air and ground units, and they do great damage.
Why The Clan Castle Should Be In The Center
Well, it's simple. You want the radius of the castle to touch every part of your base. You want to really protect the whole base, not just one part of the base. If you look at some of the best bases on these forums, they all have that clan castle in the center. You'd probably think, well it doesn't contain any resources or trophies... Why should I protect it? You want to protect it, because it is probably the fourth most important category of building there is. First comes Town Hall, Resources, defenses, and then the clan castle!
