Dark healer - The self-healing unit
New Dark Troop: Dark Healer (Name can be changed to a more relevant or fancy synonym)
Origin:
Healer, an elixir based troop, used to live upon supply of elixir. Once she couldn’t find any elixir in her village. (Must be goblins who took it all). Thirsty and starving, she tasted the dark elixir which was well protected from the goblins under the Barbarian King’s custody.
The majestic creature who lived to protect and aid her fellow troops, faced mutation and had developed a “dark” character.
Now, she has developed aggression and selfishness. This “dark” healer does not aid her fellow troops anymore, and has developed a temptation for dark elixir.
Favorite targets:
Dark elixir (Drills and storages including CC and TH), then Elixir, after that nearest building or defending CC troops
Abilities:
The dark healer is a ranged warrior (Ground and Air) just like an archer or wizard, she not only attacks the building/storage but also heals herself when under attack.
Weaknesses:
Due to excessive use of dark elixir, she has put a slight weight and she cannot fly any more. This means she is susceptible to ground bombs. Moreover the healing spell and Healer aid does not work on her.
She faces double damage from an inferno tower, when in multi target mode, and yes, her self-healing ability doesn’t work when she is under attack by an inferno tower (or under poison spell effect when she is a defending CC troop).
(Her space requirement in an army camp is 14, she still has an eye like an eagle and able to avoid spring traps).
Offensive strategy:
Use Golem, Hogs or Giants to catch attention of defenses, then use wall breakers or earthquake spell to clear the path for horde of dark healers who will successfully attack straight to dark elixir storage and possibly the town hall as well.
Defensive strategy:
It is not that easy to hunt dark elixir. The storage must be in center, close to town hall, well protected by inferno towers. Also, keep the dark elixir drills on corners of base, so that she is distracted. It is easy to kill her because she will not attack any building or defending troops until she has finished dark storage and town hall. She does not have enough strength(DPS) to carry that far on her own.
Clan castle troop:
She is an excellent choice for CC troop as she will heal herself and can attack both ground and air units.
Statistics:
Her self-healing per second and Damage per second is 35, same as level 1 healer and hit points same as level 1 Healer. Remember, she will be targeted by cannons/Mortars too in addition to AT, WT and HT.
Supercell can decide the correct HPS/DPS and hit point based on scenario testing.
Graphics:
Can be kept same as healer, except the wings, and dark colors
Battle Scenario-1:
If someone uses army camp full of healer, i.e. 17 healers, it will be a waste of attack as she will spend most of her time breaking walls to reach dark elixir and will be hunted down by defenses (and cc troop).
Battle Scenario-2:
The ideal way to use dark healer shall be as follows. Use all your army power like Golem, PEKKA, wizards and spells to flatten at least 50% of base. Then use 2 to 4 healer in strategic position to hunt dark elixir and finish town hall.
