Mizzou War is looking to add some quality members to the team!

We are currently in rebuilding mode – many of our core members took some time away from the game and have recently returned, eager to ramp up the clan to reach former glory! We are open to motivated and mature members being added to the leadership team to help keep pace with our growth. However, please do not explicitly ask for elder or Co-Leader.

History
Mizzou War stems from a strong core of clashers who have grown into a tight-knit group of friends over the past 2.5 years. Long before Clan Wars was even a thing, we came together in a clan called “Mizzou,” brought together by ties to the University of Missouri. Always searching for more skill and activity, we founded a new clan “Mizzou Elite” to attract high level players. Then, when Clan Wars changed the CoC landscape, we decided to become a more war-focused clan, founding Mizzou War. Nearly a year and a half later, we are still going strong!

Clan Atmosphere
We have lives outside of Clash. The majority of us are adults that have been around the game for several years (check out the x-mas trees) so we know the ropes. We like to have fun and crack jokes but we do prefer to keep things relatively clean.

Experience
Many of the current elders and leaders in our clan have been Clashing for several years. We have members that have second accounts in Immoral Thieves, North Watchers, House of El, Reddit Alchemy, Noble Hero, and other successful war clans. Between us we share a wealth of knowledge and information about the game that we would be happy to share with you to better yourselves in the Clash community.

Communication
Our main form of communication outside of game chat is through the app “Discord.” It is a free to download app that allows us to share pictures/plans, have off topic discussions, and voice chat. This app is a requirement.

Claiming bases
We use clashcaller to claim bases; it is simple to use and helps us coordinate war attacks.
There is nothing worse than looking over a base, developing a plan, then cooking troops, only to have someone swoop in before you and get the 3 star. There are many tools out there to coordinate attacks, but we have found clashcaller the easiest to use for everyone.

Attacking
At Mizzou War we have reasonable expectations when it comes to attacking in war. Our mindset is that of many adults who play this game; we like to play the game competitively, but understand that real life comes first. We do not expect anyone to opt in 100% of the time. We don't require any planning on teamspeak/twiddla/mumble for war attacks, nor do we require skitch plans for the vast majority of wars for talented attackers. People use our Discord war room mostly for self-improvement as opposed to a requirement for planning, unless we see they're really struggling and then we ask people to post plans so everyone can collaborate and help. We aren't a clan who kicks purely for war performance unless someone consistently 1 stars and shows no attempt at all to improve in their time with the clan, a large part of why people like it here is because we don't have that hardcore philosophy of kicking if a th9 doesn't 3 star. We also have a general timeframe we prefer TH7, TH8 and TH9 attacks, which is probably our most hardcore aspect. We don't stick to it as much in random easy wars, but in hard wars, we expect TH9s with sub 20/20 heroes to get both attacks in by 12 hours remaining in war, and all TH9s to have both attacks done with 6 hours remaining in war.

Defending
As a war clan it is important to have bases that are difficult to 3 star. We require that players run anti-3 bases instead of anti-2. If one does not have experience building anti-3 style bases, we would be more than happy to give clanmates tips. We also have a database of anti-3 bases to keep our defenses fresh and strong against the meta.

Desired Requirements:

A 3 star mindset!
TH7 = lvl2 dragons
TH8 = lvl3 dragons and lvl4 hogs
TH9 = lvl5 hogs and lvl10+ BK lvl10+ AQ

No rushed bases! .5’s are welcome. These are not hard limits - if you don’t quite meet the requirements, don’t feel like you can’t join!
