A few ideas.
I have an idea for a new troop, keep in mind that stats will probably be unbalanced, please help me with that!
On to the troop:
The first idea is an insectoid troop, which after a few seconds in battle "morphs" into an upgraded form, and the upgraded form can lay eggs which spawn more troops, with the potential to swarm bases. This idea is similar to the witch, but has no limit to the number of units spawned (although they may spawn slower).
LV 1. 80 hp, 35 dps. After 5 seconds morphs and has 140 hp, 60 dps. It now lays an egg every 5 seconds, which spawns an identical troop. It would cost 110 de to train.
LV 2. 100 hp, 40 dps. After 5 seconds morphs and has 180 hp and 90 dps. It now lays an egg every 5 seconds which spawns in identical troop. It would cost 150 de to train.
LV 3. 120 hp, 60 dps. After 5 seconds morphs and has 210 hp and 130 dps. It now lays an egg every 5 seconds which spawns an identical troop. It would cost 200 de to train.
Mabye there would be more levels.......
I imagine this troop to have a very high movement speed as it scuttles around, so about 30, like a minion. I am kind of basing this on chrysalids from XCOM, so mabye it looks similar (not that supercell could rip off firaxis and make a literal chrysalid). Since this troop could be used effectively, I think about 14 housing space is in order. Mabye it has a weakness that it will not attack inferno towers because it fears fire, this would prevent the issue which was had with LV 3 witches where the skeletons were overwhelming multi-target infernos
One more fun idea, when a clan castle troop or hero it is fighting dies, it lays a special egg in it, which spawns 3 "adult" insects.
Any suggestions on how to improve this troop?
