POLL - Battle Timer limit

I agree it's a good idea to have it depending on the Th level, but on the th lavel of the defender not the attacker. Not sure if you thought about it but it could be even cooler if a Th10 vs 9 would have even less time (for example 2:30). It would make it more difficult and give th9 the possibility to not be 3 starred.

TH7. 3:00
TH8. 3:10
TH9. 3:20
TH10. 3:30
TH11. 3:40

Most of you guys vote for timer which based on TH level. So, how does that work actually? Does it work only for same TH level match? or does that also apply to different TH level match like TH11 v TH9? If so, wouldn't that be unfair to lower TH level?



My opinion would be, just keep the timer same for all TH level instead of different timer at different TH level... I would vote 3:30.

It doesn't matter what the attacker's TH level is.

TH3 attacking TH11 gets 3:40.

TH11 attacking TH7 gets 3:00.

The rationale for longer time is more time is needed to use strategies on levels of defence.
There is no rationale that if you have more troops it takes longer to deploy them.

Yes, I think that starting from town hall 8+, there should be time increased each town hall. Theres a lot to destroy, and clan castle stoops can take up extra time, so it should increase a bit.

Since the original move to 3:30, pretty much everyone agreed it was only necessary for th10+... this all or nothing approach taken by SC seems to lack understanding of game play... Unless, of course, they can show us some data to back up their decision - Would love to see a histogram of 3 star attack times in 5 second buckets for each th level from 8 upwards...

Someone please tell me they did at least this much basic research to support their decision

This idea is okay, but not the best. The incremental time would help higher townhall but not lower ones as not many structures are added at the high townhall levels but the troops get new levels as a townhall 10, such as pekka which reaches level 5 but only stay at level 3 as a th9. Anyhow giving higher townhall is still not very fair to low townhall and may encourage townhall rushing. The time should be increased at a steady time of 3:30 or 3:45 for all townhall.

Why did Supercell change it back? TH 11 has many more buildings to destroy, plus a hero, yet no extra army camp space. It needs more than 3 minutes. It should change with the defending th level.

th8 and under: 3 minutes
Th9: 3:10
Th10: 3:20
Th11: 3:30

Th8 and under: 3 minutes
Th9: 3:15
Th10 &Ｔｈ１１: 3:30　(Bring more challenges to Th11）
