I know there are tutorials about connecting to Facebook and I tried to follow it it was no help.
So here is my isdue, I am connected to Facebook and I have family who are my friends yet my only friend on my HD friends list is Greg
I am totally baffled
I am on an Android device
You need to go into the settings and connect to Facebook in the device's settings. Then, go into hayday and select the "add friends". It may ask you for the Facebook login again after but you need to do it both places. And, this is not the Facebook app, necessarily.
Under my hayday settings it says I am connected to facebook
Under settings, then personal, there is a section for accounts. If your Facebook friends don't play, they won't be in the friends tab.
In the general tab here, there is a sticky thread to add people by their Facebook ids and they should shows up after they accept your friend request.
My family that play hayday are my friends on facebook
I even went to hay day on my phone, connected to facebook, and still, no friends but Greg
