Traps hidden or visible. Player defined
Make it possible for players to select whether traps can be seen or not by other clan members. This protects clans from spies, and allows clans that war back to back to recruit new members without exposing themselves during war.
Also it would be nice to be able to know where a what a players clan history is. Where did they come from. How long in previous clan. It might cut down on clan hopping a bit, and also expose spies. i know it wouldn't be a perfect fix for spying, but it would weed out a lot of undesirables from joining legit clans. It might also lead people to become more loyal to the clans that do accept them, rather than just hopping from clan to clan wasting peoples time and resources.
Our clan has members that are paranoid about spies during war, but we war back to back. they are also paranoid about having their bases stolen by people randomly visiting our clan. I know that they can figure it out by watching replays from war. At least they shouldn't be able to just join, screen shot our bases, and leave. trap locations take time to dial in. lazy people ripping off bases, not cool.

the point was that we run btb war and want to recruit more freely. so your solution would keep the clan perma-closed. i was looking for a solution that allowed the clan to be more open during war. a solution that would take away the benefit of trying to spy in the first place. some people hunt clans and this would also help with that. closing the clan kinda sucks for a btb war clan, but thanks for the suggestion. i'm sure it would be a great option for a war once a week clan that might not even be aware that they have been spied on.
