Single Attack War Mode & Reserve War Match System
I suggesting following two ideas, hope SC people can take a good look and take into consideration.
Single Attack War Mode: One new kind of war mode that clan leader can choose from before starting the war search, in which everyone in the war can only attack once, and any base in the map can only get attacked once.
few optional addon to the idea:
- add mist of war, cannot see base design unless started the war attack. (may be even a new war mode?)
- preset clan castle troop and war base, get ride of the preparation day, and once matched and start war right away. so was like 1 war 2 attacks for 2 days, in this mode is like 2war 2attacks for 2 days. and the war loot and clan exp reduced accordingly for the single attack mode.
Why? As most of us know, the ghost/simulate attack still exist in the COC system, but after one of the previous update, the first attack in the clan war, we cannot see any hidden objects likes traps and clan castle troops, so people cannot use normal ghost/simulate attack. so during the war, for some clan, usually the first attack is like a scout run, and then using the simulate attack we can have the full base design and castle troops info. Personally I am very against using simulate attack, but as on this day, people still using that for winning the war, and if I want to win the war, almost certainly have to use this "tool". I know SC was trying to fix this problem but as of today, might because the technical reason, the problem still persist. And this turn the COC war into a very high pressure and repetitive task and taking out most of the fun.
If we have the single attack mode, the simulate attack is no longer useful (or at least not that useful), and every clan who choose to use this mode to search, can except a fair fight.
Also If SC do add this extra war mode along side with the current attack twice mode, we might have a bit of problem of search war opponent as the search pool split into two modes. Then I came up with following idea.
Reserve War Match System: which clan leader can give coc system a time range for reserving next war match. COC will automatically known when the current war will end and can suggest clan leader the time available for the next war.
So for example, clan A choose to reserve a war during 8am to 12am tomorrow, and the current war end at 7am. clan B choose to reserve a war during 8-9am, clan C choose 9-10am, clan D choose 10-11am, clan E choose 11am-12am.
For the current war matching system, clan A can only match with clan B as they start to search opponent at the same time at 8am.
If we have the reserve war matching system, clan A can say they want to have a war start 8am to 12 am, then the coc system will know there are BCDE four clans match clan A's level and can easily match them up for the war.
So the clan leader can decide if they want a fair match, they can specify a longer reservation time, say at most 8 hours time, from 8am to 16pm, and the coc system can tell the clan that the system has found the match and will start the war on 9am. and a limit of only allow reserve within 2 days. And if clan leader want a quick match, they can reserve one 1 hour time from 8am to 9am, and the system might try to find a not that fair matching clan for the war.
Now with the reservation system, coc system will more info of the upcoming wars and can give most clan that using the system a fair war. (we complain about the unfair match everyday... 10xTH11+10xTH10 vs 20xTH11 omg...)
And I know SC is getting ride of 35 and 45 war size due to the matching system problem. This Idea might be another way out.
