Neighborhood only sales slots in RSS

I think it would be a good idea to have 'For sale within group only' slots available in the RSS - say, just 4-6 only, which can NOT be increased.

This could either be:
(1) an additional 4-6 slots made available within the current RSS; or
(2) by tapping the group icon in RSS which would take you to another area (or communal group area) where produce for sale within group only could be listed.

This would then stop the practice some players use of 'stalking' a RSS waiting for produce to appear.

This idea has been bandied around quite a bit over the last couple years (basically since we got neighborhoods) and I think SC has been considering it off and on as well. I think I'd like to flesh it out and maybe increase the buzz around the water cooler.

I just had a thought that this could be an addition to the town. it would increase visits to the town. it would increase traffic through the town and possibly get more people interested in the town since they can't ignore it if they are going there to get their buddies NH only store.

Instead of a new shop or a pen of pets or a pile of decorations make it something that would be of interest to everyone whether they like the town or not. even someone that loathes the town would be willing to visit it to get deals from their NH that no one can snipe, raid or camp. (except their neighbors.)

IE create a NSS a Neighborhood secret shop.

It could even be setup to be a feature of having a lvl 10 or 15 town thus increasing the use of all the towns and increasing the number of TEM that is collected which will increase the availability of TEM in the newspaper and trade thread. which will increase the ability of new players to receive TEM and Maps which will increase the rate at which they can grow their towns.

you get 1 slot for every 5 people that have ever been in your NH at one time. like the way the RSS is currently set up.

example create an NH of just one person (who you gonna trade with?) you get no slots. once you grow your NH to 5 people you unlock the first slot. if you move to a new NH you still keep the 1 slot you opened even it if its a smaller NH (like the way the RSS is currently set up you don't have to have 650 friends all the time. just the fact that you had them once is all that matters)

Join an NH with at least 9 other farms and you get the second slot. (10 farms in the NH at least 2 slots for all)
Grow the NH to a total of 15 farms gain the 3rd slot
20 farms 4 slots.
25 farms 5 slots.
30 farms 6 slots.

this would get most people to mix up their NHs a wee bit let in new blood or move farms to big NHs just to try for a bit. who knows people might even make new friends. see new ideas for editing their farms and Towns. and if SC decided to grow NHs even more then the option for increasing slots is also there.

Now, this has real possibilities. I love the idea of a NH shop in town. Take the whole thing out of the RSS.

At first, I didn't think much of the idea of gaining slots by joining a larger 'hood. However, thinking back to my days as a NH of one where the only farm I could visit with my PT was Greg's, I'm okay with the concept of NH size for number of NH shop slots.

This would still leave the traditional RSS trading methods as an option for trading beyond the NH.

Yeah I don't see this replacing Trading in the least. it is is simply a way of supplying your personal Neighborhood. allowing a place to leave care packages for your hood mates or a place to get help that doesn't require a coordinated surgical strike to avoid sniping. I like the idea simply because it gives a reason for visiting the town for those players who already maxed all slots in all buildings and don't care about getting tem and maps anymore. if nothing else they will be likely to rotate their train and kick everyone out once in a while.

Those slots could be used as extra storage, potentially. Would each person in a large NH have a few extra slots? So, potentially they could have storage for 10, 20, 30, 40 extra sugars, cheese and other items that could be used to give them an advantage in the derby? Am I understanding correctly?:(
