Define your "very good portion". My question is were there any official poll on this matter? My point is that if you want to change it, just change it. Don't say the "community" ask for it without any solid proof whatsoever.

I don't see it. Our clan hardly uses witches at all and we don't get hit with them very much. Last guy to throw witches at me in war used 12 for one star. If that's what success looks like, then it sounds like many are doing something wrong.

WOW! Some serious balancing lol. Sounds great to me though especially reduction in brew times. Not sure about witch skellies triggering traps though for th9 vs th9 or th10. I understand nerfing them for th10 v th10 or th11 but I think for th9 it should stay the way it is. CANT WAIT TO SEE SOME SNEAKY SNEAKIES!!!! Looks like this update is shaping up to be bigger and better than I thought

Quality of Life Changes
These are my interpretation of looking at the files I could be wrong.
Revenges give league bonus
Revenge stars count towards daily star bonus
War Win streak might be tracked and shown on Clan Info Screen
Skeletons might not trigger traps anymore.
X-Bow Buff
PS. New spell training times are 20 and 10 minutes down from 30 and 15 minutes

Most of your post wandered in a different direction than what I was talking about. All I was stating was that it is illogical to implement a balance change and not include it in a thread that was SPECIFICALLY created to address the balancing changes they are making.
Could it happen? Certainly. But I am not here to guess what will happen, I am simply stating that it's illogical to assume we will see any other balancing tweaks given that they just created a thread explaining the balancing adjustments they are making.
Don't like the 30 second reduction. This should be for th9s and below but tth10s and 11s need those extra 30 seconds. While I agree with the fact that witches are OP, making them unable to trigger traps go too far. The 30sec reduction combined with the it buff combined with the xbow buff combined with the wiz tower buff have made th10 3*ing impossible, and combined with the massive witch nerf have made witches pretty useless at th9 and th10, and 3*ing th11s almost impossible.
Some offense buffs to counter these defense buffs may balance it out, but the witch nerf makes witches extremely weak at th9 and th10, where witches were never OP to begin with. Witches lv3 moving down to th10 might balance it out, or making a new gb level at th11 and have that level only not trigger traps.
I do like the xbow buff and the valk buff. I also love decreased brew times for spells. Neutral about GW buff. Wiz towers and multis are powerful enough IMO.
