Balancing Blog Series: March 2016 Update

The beauty of the game is planning and executing 3 star raids. You've basically killed that for TH11.
Mainly the 30 second time reduction for TH11 is not well thought out. You guys added 4 new defenses to the level. It's hard enough 3 starring th10 let alone a TH11 within the 330. Basically you just nerfed Queen walks.

And if that's not bad enough. You killed golems for th11 and now witches too. Traps not triggered by witches means witches blowup/spring on traps. Thanks.

Lastly for th9 nerfing witches is stupid! A witch for 350 DE can't even take out an AT today as it is. Now it'll be worse.

Oh and make infernos stronger.

The poison spell addition has taken out so much need for skill. Historically the cc lure and kill was such a huge aspect of succeeding.

Hope SC get some credit for that dialogue of changes coming ahead of the sneak peeks.

If war mismatching is sorted, this is a huge step in the right direction after the December.... effort.

It's a good change I suppose, but meaningless for me. Seems like trying to revenge someone is simply a hassle since you're rarely able to do it. I've personally never bothered to revenge someone. In a game revolving around stealing loot and having your loot stolen, I don't feel particularly vengeful when someone has a good attack on my base.

I do find it comical when others feel the need to revenge my base and there's practically no loot to steal. This is really the only enjoyment I get out of the revenge feature.

Not much a nerfing to be honest, but the upcoming changes will do, let's see. :)

Supercell and many of the top-members of the clash community have been trying to expand the idea of "let's increase the tacticality and strategy on the game" by implementing new ideas, new attacks, strategies, etc. However, with the recent addition of the TH11, mass witches/wizards just evaded the entire notion of 'tacticality' and 'strategy'. I'm glad that they finally have a look on that, since it's getting pretty cliché for TH11 to use just mass witches and call themselves "good attackers". Yeah, mass witches is no different from the default attacks like gowipe, gowiwi, etc. 1-stage attacks.

It's about time!

I agree with you that the poison spell should have never been added. Maybe they couldn't think of anything good to go with the eq and haste spells but that?:smirk:. Personally I'm happy with the nerf to the poison spell. Definately not as op now. I still would want to maybe see it removed but meh I've pretty much given up all hope on that ever happening so this is the next best thing. As least it will help quite a bit in restoring cc diversity to its previous state.

This what everyone is missing. They never intended to make TH11 a 3 star paradise like it is now.

I saw no signs SC was unhappy with the difficultly of getting 3 stars on a TH10 when it was the max TH. They are bringing TH11 back to that 2 star level because when they released the new witches, they made them too strong. No one will accept that SC doesn't want to see the max TH 3 starred with average skill. Max royals, warden ability,6-8 witches, and 8 EQs can make that happen.

It's just the way that the game designers want the game to be. The % of 3 star attacks across the board right now for TH11 has to be drastically higher than before TH11 was introduced.

Another disappointment...

Why does Supercell fails to realise that people want some new big, great features like Arranged War, Hero's is War while upgrading, some new feature that can overhaul the monotonous war etc...

Balancing changes are necessary but these changes should be accompanied with some cool new features...

No decent update has been rolled out since the dark spell factory update...

Make mistakes and then correct them and then called it a update.... This won't work now as clashers are disappointed and the game is going downhill rapidly...
