Balancing Blog Series: March 2016 Update

Not sure how this will be balancing of things...imo the defense at th10 is already greater than offenses. I understand how some changes need to be made to make th11 witch attacks not as powerful...but to me it seems like th10 is getting screwed again. Well, i'll take Ashlain's advice and wait for the whole thing...but things just dont seem to be adding up.

When they first announced the 3:30 I always thought of it that way. 3:30 for th10+ while 3:00 for th9 and below. 3:30 is overkill for th9 and below for 3 starring.

A couple mods have said these changes will make sense when the updates roll out. Attacking th10 and th11 bases are hard but I don't think they would make this change without good reason.

100% agree. At TH9 and below the decrease is fine - but TH10s and 11s NEED this extra 30 seconds.

So a th9 attacking a th10 would have 3m and a th10 attacking a th9 would have 3m30s?

I always thought their main issue is that they are ineffective against multi-infernos. Wouldn't this hurt valks since they can't be healed when in range?

TH9 has been a wash since the TH11 update with the extra 30s. It should be far more challenging now which is great.
However TH10 and 11 really needed the extra 30s. Where is the balance with those townhalls now? Throw them a bone! Level 6 hogs! And level 3 hound for TH11! We've been waiting intently for an offense buff at TH10, it's in desperate need. TH10's should have the ability to blind hit triple like TH9, without a ten mile long Archer queen walk.

So your air defenses are out of range of the CC then? Otherwise a hound will lure - expensive lure but still a lure
