Balancing, really, more like balancing SC bank account...
What about the real balancing required for the game to be remotely fair...
ELIXIR is not balanced what so ever. You have increased the requirements to go full war army on every attack but not given any ways to actually getting the elixir needed.
Gold is no problem. Plenty available. But Elixir and DE are just too rare.
It only takes a failed attack and you loose all you have gained...
compainers will always complain. if SC buffs offense, they will scream that its op in war and farming. if they buff defense, they scream troops are too weak and defense is too op. People are never happy. end of discussion
I dont like this. Reducing the battle time is mean spirited at best. The majority of new base designs requiremthe extra 30 seconds. Taking those precious seconds away is going to greatly reduce everyones chances of getting a 3 star attack completed in time at all levels. Please dont take away from the battle time.
New to th11, was just about to upgrade my witches. Glad I didn't . Without skeletons to protect the witches from traps, they are useless.
There's going to be a lot of 1 and 2 stars left on the war map after this update I'm assuming...
Firstly big thumbs up for this much improved communication supercell. I'm loving the fleshed out info and reasoning behind some of your changes.
I'm liking much of what I've heard and really need to see how it plays out with all the other changes we know are coming with this update. However I have very mixed thoughts regarding the loss of the additional 30 seconds given a previous update.
With regards to my th9 I see this as a positive move thereby increasing the challenge to 3 star a th9. Much of that additional time has been commonly used to lure and poison the cc troops but with idle troops moving out of poison range we will need to revert to our old practice of luring and using a kill squad with a poison spell to slow down the engaged cc troops. I'm perversely looking forward to having to work harder for my three star war attacks lol
BUT this is a huge disappointment for my th10 which uses multi phased attacks (as was your intent when introducing th11 to the game) and the additional time is often essential to achieve a three star or high value two star. The loss of the 30s will exacerbate an already challenging war attack range. With the additional buildings for both high level ths surely an additional attack time would make perfect sense. I would certainly urge the dev team to explore the possibility of setting attack times on th11 and 10 at 3 mins 30s, and setting attack times on th9 and below at 3 mins. I'm suggesting the attack time is set according to the defending th level and not the attacking th level. A th10 attacking a th9 should only get 3 mins. A differentiated attack time approach would more accurately take account of base defensive increases as ths progress through the game.
