Anti-Cheeting, Anti-xMMod: Allow us to move traps during war
Dear Supercell:
In the last two wars, cheeters and xMModders have been the story. 2% attacks on our top guys from peeps at the bottom, traps are revealed, and they go on to 3-star our top guys. It is getting worse and worse.
To counter this, I propose the following change: allow players to move traps AFTER war has begun. This will provide the honest players with a way to counter these hax. After one of these 2% attacks, we can change the location of our traps, thus invalidating the cheet.
I must say that ch3at3rs like this can utterly ruin a game. I've been gaming for a while, and I've seen it happen. With first-person shooters it was aimbots: hold down the alt key and your crosshairs lock onto the enemy. It happened in MMORPG's, they called them "bots" or "macroers." Go to sleep, and let the script farm gold for you. Here today, we have "fluffy bunnies."
You can't ignore it; this will not just "go away" by itself. Censoring words in the forum will not help either. You have to take decisive action and empower the honest players with the ability to fight the rule-breakers, or the good players will leave the game. This ultimately results in financial loss, cuts into your profits, and can cause you to lose your core community of players. You need to understand that this problem poses a real business risk.
Give us some counter-measure against these rule-breakers, and let us move the traps after a war attack.
Sincerely,
Boletus frostii
