Please Fix Wall Breakers AI
I know I'm not the only person who has thought of this so I apologize if this is a repost. I searched the forums for awhile and didn't see anything.
Wall breakers need to be fixed. They inherently target walls that are already damaged. This has ruined more raids for me than anything else I can think of. For example, You are doing a shattered golaloon. You split two golems on two different defenses about 12-16 tiles apart. You drop a few wall breakers between them so that they come together in the middle to enter the base. What happens? The wall breakers pick a side and run towards the wall that a golem is beating on, and get killed by splash damage. Some people may say... Why dont you just time it with the mortars then? Well, even if I time it with the mortar, the attack becomes unbalanced now because one golem gets way ahead of the other. Wall breakers should go exactly where you tell them to which should always be the closest wall.
There's really no argument against this. I understand making the game easier can "unbalance" the game. But a fix like this will not give an advantage to an unskilled player. It will only decrease the chances of ruining a skilled players attack due to unpredictability. If I want my wall breakers to break the wall the golems are beating on, I will simply drop them so that that wall is the closest wall. This really comes down to game design. Players' performances should be limited by their skill level, not the games ai. They should have full control over a troop as simple as wall breakers. Unpredictability only decreases the overall skill level of the community as a whole.
