I'd so buy that rabbit so he could eat all the carrots from the DD. smh
why are people planting carrots to sell in the DD? Who buys them on purpose? I accidentally bought some and tried to sell them back before i realised what i was doing...:mad: Now i wish i had just used them up for animal fodder as they are now forever stuck in my roadside shop. :(
I think I am getting cancer from seeing too many carrots over the last couple of days. It is disgusting.
To think that a few hours before the event, I got to level 34 and wondered extensively what magical force encourages people to unanimously sell strawberries in bulk.
This really is a non-event.... So, everyone is able to grow carrots faster, the Daily Dirt is now full of carrots, which people can not sell because everyone is able to produce ample carrots themselves. Furthermore there is no real incentive to grow carrots.
Better to have an event where you can earn more coins, vouchers etc... The last two events (boat and truck) were much better....

The idea of quick growing crops is great.....HOWEVER, people think they are the only one with this ability and flood the advertising papers with nothing but carrots! 4 days of carrots? NO THANKS! I'll be back to play when the 4 days are up. I hope some better "events" are in store for us. The other events were GREAT!!! LOVED it! Just not this type though! Sorry!
Although I haven't been greatly affected by the carrot event myself, I hope newer players who were not able to benefit from the first two events are doing well. It's a real bummer when you find a game you like and are working hard to level up but extra special rewards are well beyond your level. It can feel like you're not important to the game and a carrot event gets more people involved. (Besides...it's super fun counting how many carrot adds there are in the DD. The most I've seen is 28/51) Gotta look for the silver lining or else be swallowed up by all the orange LOL
It's a learning curve for SuperCell regarding these events. I can see why they tried this one. They want to befairto ALL players. As somebody noted above, the boat event was rather...limiting as there are players who haven't opened the dock yet or those who don't want to ( I didn't even open mine until somewhere around level 24 I think).
So they missed out on double vouchers.
The truck event was better in including all players to a degree only that lower level players still would have earned less even with double coinage.
So in a way they're testing the waters. I happen to like the idea but am sure they can expand on this. It was easier for me to get carrots for my feed mills, cake and juice.
Be kind to the poor developers/programmers and testers- they don't always wNt to work overtime to push outa big. Even LOL. Plus these events don't spring from their minds, but rather from hmm. Not sure where inSC Burt from upper management usually who are tasked to deal with projects.

Although my carrots are selling at full price, I think the event is lame.
I don't think the event is as terrible as some others, but its certainly a let down after the first two events! The unintended consequence of FLOODING the paper with carrots makes these kinds of events counter productive.
I suppose I could be making lots of carrot juice? Except I'm using that machine for other necessary items - it's not like the juicer is just sitting idle!
So this one's a bit of a miss, no big deal. It will be over soon, and something new will happen! More than anything I just appreciate the developers trying new things to keep the game interesting.
