Builders should be a defensive unit also

I am not sure that this is relevant enough to even discuss, but here are my two cents:

Here are the stats for a level one archer. Builders, not being trained for war, would have to be lower stats than this:

Secondly, I would think that SUPERCELL might be into this (#Anoushka, #Developers) because it would incentivize lower level players to spend gems ($buy gems$) to get the extra builders.

Thank you and I will massage the Stats. You are righy they should be lower than a level 1 barb or archer.

Great idea i would do the samething if someone broke into my house i think the builders should be able to protect their village

That's my thought, I think they would be worthy of this task. Its not over the top, and wont change much of the defense but it gives it that no brainer stuff to the game. :) Hope the rest agrees.
