My whole neighborhood has noticed this (so it's not just me) and I've been playing for 2.5 years, so I know it's not just the normal "someone got to the item before me". I am lucky to find anything at all that has been advertised, no matter how quick I am. The only luck I've had since the update has been when someone keeps adding goodies. I'm hoping it's just that a lot more people are on because of the update and it will go back to normal soon. Otherwise, the DD is not doing much good. 😔

With the mini-event of double coins from the visitors, I'm thinking that more items are being sold quicker than they used to in hopes the little people ask for those items and the farmer can turn a profit. ;)
It's a joke at the moment, may as well take the mail box off my farm.
Even if I sweat on the mailbox notification I cannot buy anything, not even rubbish like eggs. Let alone an expansion material.
By far the worst thing since the update, Daily Dirt is now mission impossible.

I can see how the casual shopper can be ticked off with this. Either pick up the pace or wait it out. Explanations as to why this is occurring is provided in the link above.

To me it seems like something more than just lack of bots, more shoppers, whatever. I'm successful ingetting the odd thing, but only if it's on page 1 and I hit the ad super fast. It's useless to try for a second ad. And only from my iPad .. iPhone, forget about it, not even worth trying anymore.
its as if SC changed the timing of the DD or something .. E.g., seems like it's refreshing for thousands of shoppers at the exact same time, e.g. Once every 5 minutes at the exact same time for everyone, whereas before it was more staggered. If that makes sense.
Anyway, it's definitely more than just heavy shoppers, something has surely changed at SC's server end and I don't care who tries to explain it differently, I'm not convinced. :cool:
Wow. 30 min for that?? Interesting. A bit of a hyperbole? I'm not saying the DD is awesome at the moment and it's definitely not normal...given the circumstances. Every update will bring back inactive players...and the timing of little visitors event does complicate matters. I've been here for every update since the game was released so this phenomenon is nothing new with the paper. Like I said, give it a couple days for it to die down or speed up the pace of shopping. There's nothing we can do about it. No need to destroy that mailbox.Quote:
