Whats going on with the newspaper?

What I realized is there's no more bot farms in the newspaper. Before update I often saw farm named "don't buy last box" or "please like my farm" or every single farm that have only numbers on it's name or even doesn't have name, and they just sell wheat and wheat and wheat, with level above 30 but only got few machines and almost no animals, and newspaper was full of their ads most of the time but now they're gone.

I agree!!! I would go to the explanation symbol in the paper and when I get to that farm that symbol at the top of the screen disappears. So nothing is available. Not the item in the paper, not anything to be revived, and no boat crates to fill. I'm usually going to look for revivals.

Those happens like 3-5 times in a row. I think it's kind of ridiculous.

The paper seems kind of worse not better. It's nice to see not so much wheat, but when you need wheat, it's odd that your can't find it!

No doubt there's been a change... I don't think it's for the better. You always had to be quick in the DD and you'd expect to get beaten to the goodies many a time, but this is ridiculous now.

I've only been playing for a few months, but I noticed a BIG change in the paper over the last week. I thought maybe it was because I use my iPad (which seems to lag a little), but now I know it's not just me. I can't seem to buy even wheat anymore, at any price, and that's VERY weird.

The only upside of this is that now I'm saving coins. ;)

Can we really believe their claim that there is nothing wrong with the newspaper when one of the major aspects of this update was removing the Christmas theme, and the sheep still have antlers?

if hay day would look on the facebook page you will see that there are a great deal of people having the same problem. We can't buy anything. Most of the pages are blank. I sat and watch several someone's putting items for sale and you would instantly see it disappear. In the flash of an eye blink. Also, when you go to try to help others, where there is the "!" mark, nothing would be there.
Please hay day, there really is a problem. This ole granny enjoys the game and now i can't even enjoy it anymore and i have been with you a very long time.

I noticed this two days ago as well, and only joined the forum to find out if I was going crazy. There is definitely something wrong, because there has been a massive change in item availability.

I can understand seeing an item purchased a tenth of a second before you click, as that would happen on occasion before. Now, however, most of the time the items are not only already sold, but already COLLECTED. That means a goid 10 seconds have gone by, which is impossible if it is the first ad I click on, and I checked the paper as soon as the mailbox moves!

The aboce scenario is most often the case for valuable items, so much so that I would say that is the rule, and not the exception. It is a freakishly rare event that I even find an advertised item greyed out, let alone still unsold!

This means SC deliberately made changes to help botters? What the hell, man! I guess botters have proven to be more profitable cash shop customers... 😠
