Make revenge attack process less time consuming
Revenge attacking is my favorite method of attack but the system currently consumes/wastes a lot of time. Below I summarize my current typical experience when looking for a player to revenge attack and then suggest a few small changes that would streamline and improve the process.
Revenge attack process:
1) Open the defense log
2) Scroll to the bottom of the defense log to inspect the players that will be soonest removed from the list
3) Visit the player on the bottom of the list
4) Analyze their defenses and decide if they are a defeatable target
5) If they appear to be defeatable, click on each of their gold and elixir stores and click info to determine how much resources they have
6) If they have enough resources to make the the attack worthy, click Return Home
7) Open the defense log
8) Scroll to the bottom of the list and find the player again
9) Click Revenge
At this point 95% of the time it turns out the player is either shielded or online, so I go back to the defense log and start the process over again.
Suggested improvements:
1) The ability to scroll through visited bases in your defense log the same way one can scroll through visited enemy bases in a clan war. While you are visiting the base there is a "forward" and "backward" button to move through the bases in your defense log (exclude players which you have already used your revenge attack on). This saves time on having to return home, open the defense log, and scroll down to the last inspected player every single time.
2) Display the amount of available loot when you visit a player in your defense log's base, the same way it is displayed in the top left when you attack a random player. The information is available because you can currently see how much loot they have overall by inspecting each of their resource storages (or, god help you, resource collectors if you cared enough), it's just time consuming and a royal pain.
3) Add an "Attack" or "Revenge" button to player's bases in your defense log WHILE you are visiting them. Why do I have to return home, open the defense log, and scroll down to find the player again? It doesn't sound like much but when you're doing it 50 times in a row, day after day, it becomes very tedious.
4) Mark shielded/online players in your defense log. I DID SEE THIS IS IDEA IS ALREADY IN THE "RULED-OUT" THREAD, (I'm assuming to reduce network traffic by having to ping the server about every player in your defense log every time it is opened?) but currently without the other suggestions implemented it makes finding someone to revenge attack extremely frustrating because you are forced to go to through all the previously mentioned steps over and over, just to find that revenge is not actually available.
I'm quickly losing interest in my favorite aspect of the game so I hope you implement these suggestions or find other ways to make revenge attacking less time consuming.
Thanks!
