3 SIMPLE WAYS SC CAN IMPROVE CLAN LEADER ROLE (get with it SC ;)
I am leader of a war clan started several months back and know the woes that Leaders go through on a day to day basis. Here are a few suggestions I think SC could easily implement to make running a clan easier and less stressful for the leader and Co's. If you have any good ideas, post them up and I will add them to the list.
1. Reject Message
Wouldn't it be great if you could send a message to someone you reject to let them know why, what they need to work on or when they should try again. This would allow you to communicate to someone you are declining... for example maybe you are in a tough war and don't want to risk they could be a spy and want them to request a day or two later. Maybe they just need a few levels on their heroes but reject message would be great.
2. Clan Rules Displayed In Clan
Yes there is the clan description but that is visible to everyone outside of the clan and it is more purposeful stating join requirements and it is not very long. I have seen leaders resort to keyboard shortcuts to post the rules but wouldn't it be easier if there was a Clan Description type area for members inside the clan? This would be so easy to include in the game and it would save Leaders SO MUCH time from having to repeat the clan rules every time there is a new members. War rules, Donations rules, activity rules, promotion requirements all things a Leader has to repeat EVERY new member and these do not change much there needs to be an in clan only permanent message.
3. Global For Recruitment
Every month it seems global chat is increasingly over run by recruitment spam. I suggest having a recruitment global for each townhall level and/or cups. Having these "micro" globals would help organize chaos of recruitment. For example see below. This way the people in these globals would be there for the purpose of finding players or taking with Co's, Elders, Leaders about joining.
Recruitment > th8
Recruitment > th9
Recruitment > cups 4000+
Currently the only filter is country code making it easier to connect with members in your timezone but for many clans this is less of a concern and finding who you need by TH level or cup level is the real filter that is important.
