I vote for this!!!
It would help manage clans and tie into personal clan forums.
It would be nice if its RESTful API that gives us access to clan list and current war stats.
This idea would be huge for those of us that are working our tails off to clash, run their clan, and their website. Definitely a +1 on this.

Hopefully there will be an API in the future, it would take the game to the next level. Being able to get statistics, seeing who's an active player, displaying troop donation count, clan comparison and many other things would suddenly become possible. An API is not needed, it's required.
I just did a web search for CoC API and this thread popped up & I just had to register to support it.
I was looking into using the API to do reporting on various clan aspects.
I am curious though if supercell has data storage issues?

You guys actually think they would implement an API for you? There's a thousand other things Supercell would rather spend that money on. Consider the security concerns and server load concerns that would surface from a feature like this...
We were finally just given the ability to do advanced searches for clans...
I agree that an IPA could bring up security concerns and would tax the severs but would be sweet.Quote:
