A TH9 Journey

As I did before I went to TH8, asking for advice here --> A TH8 Journey, I'm starting a new thread doing the same for TH9.

My TH8 is maxed out, with the exception of one Dark Barracks and some mines/pumps. I will be reaching TH9 in about 20 hours, so just need some guidance and tips from others who have gone down this road.

Here is my initial plan, including Day 1 & 2 details - these "broken" upgrades are for walls inbetween upgrades. I've not put much thought into it beyond this and would appreciate any help whatsoever.

Looks very nice and organized. But the 5th builder how will you stay up 24 hours to keep the upgrades going?

To sort that out I leave the 12h upgrades for last, to run over night, aka Wizard Tower lvl1, Archer Tower lvl5. :)

I noticed under Lab you didn't specify which troops you were upgrading. If I can make a suggestion, and you use giants, do those first. There is so much hype about lvl 6 archers, but really, they only go up a few points in each. They barely upgrade. Giants on the other hand, if you use them, it's the best upgrade you can initially make. What do you think?

100% correct! Sorry I cut the image a bit short.

Level 6 archers are up first, the only reason being - it's for the clan. :) As a clan leader I have some responsibilities. :p The very next thing is the giants though. I will be gemming time on archers however, as soon as I have the 6mil for the giants.

Yeah, that's why I did it first.. But honestly, the worst lvl 6 upgrade. Statistically and with experience using them. You will see when you are about to upgrade them, barely move(stats). But still its kind of expected so I see why. Anyways what base are you going to use? Your own or a base like ping's or Junliang's?

What are you going to do with that DE? Loads of it, I wouldn't be surprised if people lightning spelled the hell out of that. 1500's is known for that stuff. After xbows are both started, you will be at 0 gold flat. You should maybe protect mines a little more so that when you build both xbows you can have a good cushion with all that gold in your mines. By the looks of it, right now you could maybe get 400k minimum from it.

You may consider using DE to start AQ - this will use your 5th builder.
1st upgrade - 12h
2nd - 24h(?)

Yeah I hear you, I appreciate the concern - giants are the correct lvl6 upgrade to do first. But it's for the clan. :p

I will most likely use a Pingfao or Junliang build, still need to check.

That's what I forgot..... :o Buying the AQ, doing a battle or 2 with her then straight to lvl2. I might do enough raids to almost take her to lvl3 the same day.

Regarding gold, yeah I won't do the X-Bow's at exactly the same time, will be starting the first, do a raid or 2 so I have gold to click the Next button, some walls inbetween and then the second X-Bow.

I reccomend using one of your builders for your AQ. Not a ton of HP, but that doesn't matter. I was hesitant but but I found out she is powerful. Better than BK. Really changes the aspect of how you attack. There has been more than a few times where all my troops have died, and she would be sniping at resources. She has saved my ♥♥♥ numerous times.
