The League system does not work for match making.

Many players drop their trophies on purpose in order to be able to easily loot from lower players.


It is really frustrating as a relatively new player to the game to see your resources getting stolen over and over again by players with much higher troops levels than your defenses can handle.


Most players in my League is at a much higher level than they should be compared to the League they are in, and the number of trophies they have. So it is really hard to find someone at the same level as me when I want to attack. It is not unusual to have to go through 20 or move players before I find the first one at my level. It is very expensive to find someone where I have a chance of 3 stars. This is not fair at all.
It also make it so easy and cheap for higher players to walk allover newer players and steal their resources, thereby hindering their progress.


This is not right, fair and I think directly immoral.


I can also see it in my clan where most higher players, that have played for a year or more almost have the same number of trophies as I, and I have only played for about a month.


So Supercell please fix this problem, and put the decency back into the game as it was intended by the League system.

Make it pointless for higher level players to attack lower ones.
Make the level calculation less based on on league and trophies and more on Town Hall & specially top Barrack level.

There are already measures in place to deter people from picking on lower players. You can only search for people with two TH levels of your own and attacking down offers significantly less loot than attacking the same level or higher.

It is a part of the game when trying to upgrade your village that you'll loose trophies when looting other villages, as you progress you see exactly what I mean, yes some players deliberately drop trophies to go lower but as Rambo stated there are measures in place to stop players picking on much lower level th.

A two level TH difference make a lot a difference.
It is almost impossible to defend against such an attack.
Even being attacked by 1 TH higher player will almost certainly result in a total loss unless the player do not know how to attack the right way, which is unlikely at higher levels, unless they loose on purpose.

So I do think it should only be possible to get loot from an attacked player if his TH is at the same level as yours or higher.

And it should only be possible to attack one level under own TH level. for star bonus.

Is it only me that find it unfair and disgusting to attack and steal a defenseless players resources?

Maybe I am just to old and have to much morality to play this kind of game. :mad:

I agree with OP. The same match making system used in Clan Wars could be used for MultiPlayer. The only bases that one finds are within close war weight range. That helps people as they transition to a new TH since they will only find people at their level.

i usually get people of almost an equal level as my th10. i simply continue to skip until i meet an easy base. it is wiser to spend 50k on skipping and get an easy 300k (250k gain) than rush and jump on the first base you meet. also lower leagues like silver have lots of loot, not because the system does not work, but because the dead bases (abandoned bases) usually have low trophies so the drop to that region. getting looted by people stronger than you means there are people like me who simply skip and skip until they see a sweet juicy base.

I guess you also find the very core of nature to be disgusting, unfair, and immoral. Big fish eats little fish. Wherever little fish goes big fish follows. This is how it works in real life too. If you don't like it in the game, then don't play.

I guess it depends on what you mean by 'works'. If the goal is to increase competition by evening out the opponents, then no, the trophy system does not work. If the goal is to exploit mismatches for personal gain, then yes the system does work.

Every change and setting in the game is to increase competition between somewhat even opponents: loot penalty for attacking lower bases, higher league bonuses as you increase trophy count and level of enemy bases, war match making (which is being tweaked to make more fair at this very moment), etc.

The reason why this is even a debate because there is not enough incentive for people to want to compete against a base of the same level. Removing the th snipes forced users but people still look for 'easy bases' as this user said above. And who can blame them?

The solution: Create Leagues for every townhall level. Multiplayer match making will be based on your 'village weight' similar to your war weight. (For example a new TH10, without infernos, will only be matched up vs other new TH10s and maybe TH10s with lvl 1 infernos but never against TH10 with lvl 2 and up infernos). Double league bonuses to give further incentive for players to attack vs their level competition.

With this solution, you can remove dead bases at a much faster rate and you will still accomplish the goal of 'playing the right way' without upsetting the masses.

Thats the competitions(attack& war) but if u want compete on defenses u need to th11 first(unless for war) :3 if there no loot chain from th11 to th2 its pretty much impossible(i mean so freaking long)for th11 upgrading warden, th9 maxing walls without dead bases...
