Upgrading requirement for War Eligibility
Just ran a 15 v 15 war the other night which we lost 44-43, which in my opinion was unfairly matched. We had 4 th9's, 4 th8's, mixture of th7-5's. Our number 1 had max troops, max defenses, a mixture of lvl 8 and 9 walls of about half/ half, and 11/ 10 heroes. The other clan had 3 th9's (True TH9's), but their number 1 had 24/23 heroes, max troops and defenses of course, and about 50% max walls. Their num 2 and 3 both had 10/ 10 heroes. Our number 3 had 10/5 heroes. But what this WEASEL leader of their clan did, was upgrade an account to th9, WITHOUT purchasing any defenses. This fake th9 was their number 13, but he had lvl 4 drags, lvl 6 lightning, lvl 2 quake, and the rest of his troops were extremely weak. His number 13 three starred our number 4 who was still a relatively new th9 with a lvl 3 ad, and then 2 starred our number 3 with about 70%. Their number 1 then 3 starred our 2 and 3, and their numbers 2 and 3 took turns mustering up a 2 star 78% gowipe on our 1.The problem is that their number 1 was simply too strong defensively for our tops to 3 star. We got two stars and 63% which eliminated us from being able to win by percentage. So the WEASEL leader figured out a way to ♥♥♥♥♥ the matchmaking system. So, not to be sour about the loss (which snapped our 32 game winstreak...), but I am a purist and I believe in the integrity of the game. There is nothing better than an intense war with equal strength clans duking it out on an even level playing field. This is similar to when a medium-semi strong th9 matches up against a semi-rushed th10, there are still infernos, extra bow, atch tower cannon etc to deal with... it's a turnoff battling for two stars. So my proposal is simple:
To be eligible for war, you must be required to purchase everything from the shop, and you must be upgraded defensively to a certain extent. Dont have to be maxed, but must set a certain level. This is for war purposes only. This will truly set the most even matched wars, with the true clashers who are sincerely playing alot and upgrading to the best of their ability. Not the RAT / WEASEL leaders who figure out a way to get an edge on the system. I understand there are many rushed town halls and thats fine, but my gripe is this: if you're going to occupy 47 hours of my time between prep day and war day, I want a FAIR and BALANCED war.
P.S. not all of this is bad, the treasury and loot bonus system was an excellent addition to the game.
