Okay so I will be maxed out on TH7 in about 4 days and im really skeptical about upgrading to tell you the truth im really worried the the loot penalties will bring me down and also i think that my normal giant healer won't work anymore so please fill me in thanks :)
TH8 loot is great, and you get better troops to take it with. No need to worry.
The loot is fine. Just don't try to raid TH6s and you'll barely feel the penalty.
With TH10 out now TH8 is great.
Dont be afraid... T 8 isnt that bad with loot.....im pretty suregiant healer will still work since my leader uses it without healers...hes inexperienced with it and is a th9...not a premie th9...Quote:

I'm very happy at TH8. While you are less likely to find the dream $1 million raid [which is super rare anyway]
You'll make up for it by been able to having substantially better troops to help you raiding. There is a seriously good jump from L4 troops to L5 troops.
I just avoid attacking TH6 players, not very profitable and they will get a good loot bonus on you if they try to get your pumps/lightning you.
loot is great at th8 you have nothing to worry about :cool:
TH8 loot is awesome with th10 out, I get 400k + raids all the time. Don't worry mate.

TH6 don't have DE storages so they wouldnt try to lightning you....
I think TH8 is a great thing to do if you are maxed out. Its the ONLY thing you can do. Level 5 troops, DE drill, more walls to endlessly farm to upgrade.....
I think you could do it. Giant healer isnt the only army you can use! BAM works great! (and even better since you always have DE ready for minions with the drill)
It is fun. Averaging 172,126 gold per raid and rising. My attack log for this season is filled with good loot so far.Quote:

My TH7 is maxing out in a few days as well. The only motivation I actually have is the LEVEL 5 troop category. See you at TH8 in a few days. :)
Don't be afraid. Farmer do well even at TH9.
You will struggle only during the first period when you have lowly troop at TH8.
Once you have those basic lv5 troops, everything will be far more easy.
Max TH8 is easier than you might think.
There's nothing to worry about - you'll find plenty of loot, and as other have noted, the upgraded troops will increase your army's punch. I've enjoyed TH8 more than any other level. There's tons of work to do, and that means lots of raiding!
You will get pounded by TH9 and 10 the first few weeks but like he said once you get upgrades going you will not regret it - I felt like quitting at that point but stuck with it and now I am almost ready for 9. You will be fine. ps. loot is very goodQuote:
