We know there are 3 layouts we can select (+3 layouts in clan war).

There are times that other decorations dont fit in our layout and in the other layout its just okay.

So if we can hide other decoration in our other layout it would be nice... :)

The decorations are such a small part of the game I don't really see it matters.
