Sooo I assume you want to know this for surgical loon deployment in HoLo and GoVaLo (Where AD are already destroyed or out of range). Typically the rule of thumb I've seen around, and use myself, is 2 loons per Archer Tower and 1 loon for Wizard Towers and Teslas (If you see them pop). Of course this varies with range, but I would never go fewer loons than those guidelines.
1 lvl6 loon drop and a death will take down a lvl10 archer tower
1 lvl6 loon drop and 2 deaths will take down a lvl11 archer tower. 1 loon drop and 1 death will leave a lvl11 archer tower with a tiny bit of health.

Two lvl6 loons can take out lvl 11 AT, even an AD can reach!

If we need to use 3 or more Loons, I think we'd better use Hogs.
How about Hogs to remove defenses?
