Flip's Shuriken - A TH8 Design

Hello Clashers,

Do you know the feeling when you wake up in the morning and you know all ressources are stolen? I don't since i use my self created design 'Shuriken'.

This Base includes :

-centralized clan castle
-Funnels
-seperated storages
-triangular mortars,wizard tower and air defenses.
-dark elixir storage is protected by ALL splash towers.
-outside buildings are placed as effective "meat-shields"
-staggered t-junctions to minimize Wall Breaker's splash damage.

I would like to thank Pingfao who inspired me and the sky family for the support

Looking very nice! One tiny suggestion, if you move a couple items outside of the range of your cc it will make the cc just that much harder to lure, here are the buildings im talking about (note: the gold mine isnt as important since barbs would be attracted to the other buildings first)

Some uses 2-3 lightning on your de and your wiz towers get destroyed too making it a lot easier to take the base down, and if they fail, they still got a decent amount of de. Otherwise looks decent.

Yeah I don't like the Wizard tower placement at all. It has unequal coverage. The triangle law for mortars and wizard towers is the best route to do.

My only complaint is wizard tower placement.

With townhall 8-10 you have so many buildings you can't cover all the buildings with cc...and frankly you don't want cc to be pulled easily. If anything you want your walls to go out so far no one can lure you're cc before they enter your base.

correction, one can never lose ALL his/her resources, only a few(20% storages? 50% collectors? i forget the numbers). nice design by the way.

3 Lightnings only take out the 2 wizard tower near the de storage. Yes if people fail they still get a good amount of dark elixir(lightning) but it isn't affected by the wizard tower placement.

Good transformability, staggered junctions, segmented resources, centralised cc and funnelling. Now try making the core a little more creative rather than that boring old 6x6 ;)

And I might consider rearranging your wiz towers a bit since you really don't need all 3 focused on your DE. They will be taken out by a few lightnings.

Don't use giant bombs, farming or not, replace giant bomb with builder hut so wallbreaker gets distracted. Also i would just lightneing your wiz towers then rush in from above.

Names can't be "taken" and it was "taken" before you named yours. I watched him design it in clan before yours was named.

The bottom gold storage is a bit exposed, and yeah the wizard towers could be lightninged, but otherwise looks good!

it looks exposed but it isn't. Every gold storage is in the 2nd layer. You need 6 wallbreakers to get to one gold storage.

Like other people have said, the only flaw is the wizard tower placement, not as triangular as I like and easily lightninged

At first glance it looks like Pingfao's Tesla Theme Park but with a few changes here and there and different defenses placement. :rolleyes:

In my opinion honestly you made a few bad decisions regarding the placements of your defenses like wizard towers, mortars and air defense for instance. They may form a triangle, or some weird shape that resembles one. As long as it works for you I have no issue with this. :p

He named his base "Flip's Shuriken"... name your base either just "Shuriken" or "Phil's Shuriken".... :p

ok design

- mortar coverage ... switch the upper left gold storage with the mortar
- wizard placement... 2 lightnings and I've got some DE and two towers

Definitely a nice cool looking design but wizard placement is bad really bad and your wizard towers are the most important imo
