Matched against derby teams with 1 player more than our hood

This Derby we were matched against teams with 20 players and we had 19. Every other hood has 20 members opted in, there was no chance we could win that is a potential 3200 points more than we could get even if every player on our team did 10th task. This is very irritating since many players use diamonds to complete tasks and for 10th task. We are in Champs league our hood is called the Robin's nest, red striped emblem with yellow fox. I hope this doesn't continue, I will be watching for this glitch in the future. I feel hay day needs to fix this issue imediately, there are 25 hoodmates very irritated by this. Unfortunately we didn't notice this until now, we never would have spent our money to buy and use diamonds if we noticed this in the beginning of the derby. So frustrating Hay Day!!

It seems weird that 'every other team' has 20, so it might be a glitch. But in future you need to check as soon as the Derby starts to be sure, because what you see now is who is or isn't currently opted in for next weeks Derby, not this weeks.

When are hoods matched for Derby's the day the derby ends or The following day? I want to be clear as to best day to boot players that under performed, hate to boot but sometimes it must be done. That may be why we were miss-matched, we booted someone the day after the previous derby ended.

You are matched against other teams when you take your first task.

'The day after the previous Derby ended' is the day the Derby starts. You should be fine to boot people until you take your first task, but I wouldn't risk it. I'd do it before the Derby officially starts again.
