Spell/hero brew time reduction

So to give you some perspective on my game play and where I'm coming from, pre DEC update I was a mid level TH10 farming with Barch in and around gold league some times heading to crystal. I would attempt a trophy push every so often to test my abilities up to champ and back down again.

Post DEC update I've had to adapt and tbh I don't mind, I am enjoying the game still, making steady progress grinding my heros and walls. I now farm in Champ because the loot on offer from a 2 star attack along with the loot bonus is great, I'm actually making more from my farming this way as well as improving as a player.

In order for me to achieve two starts I am however having to train substantial armies. Again I don't mind, I choose to play this way. I boost spells, barracks and heros when farming as I buy some gems on a monthly basis, just like I buy a paper daily. I don't mind paying for goods and services I use daily.

My biggest frustration is the spell cook times and hero regeneration. Even boosted I am maybe averaging 2/3 attacks per hour. My troops are cooked and waiting. I have tried different spell compositions but the formula I've got for successful attacks needs heros and spells. Again I don't mind waiting as I choose to play this way but a simple reduction maybe only by 5 minutes would make the world of difference when boosting.

Do you agree? Do you find spell/hero time too long? Would you like them reduced or maybe have a suggestion for me? And please no drop to silver and milk comments.

TL;DR Are spell/hero cook times too long? Yay or nay! And would reducing them solve a lot of issues? Yay or nay!

This has been an issue that's been discussed multiple times, although a lot of people agree/support this idea unfortunately SC makes a killing of gemming hero regen and spell times, so unfortunately don't think this will happen anytime soon.

Certain spells had such as rage already had a reduction time not too long ago, so don't think SC will budge much more.

Personally as a th10 this is why I prefer farming down in gold league, plenty dead bases, rarely have to use spells and most of the time have heroes avoid taking much damage.

Spells and heroes have already had their times reduced.

They already massively reduced these. What they could do is introducing league perks so the higher you go the faster your cooking time. That would also balance with the amount of clouds you get at the top.

What do you guys think about the idea of reducing build times as someone progresses? Meaning if someone is in masters league it is shorter to cook wizards than it would be at gold league.

We have never considered this to be a good idea.

I like the idea of making it a clan perk or a perk to climb the leagues.

u can playing with basic troops(cheap&small like: barch gob wb giant wiz and little ammount of hog and valk in combination) it usually use 0-2 spells+ 0-1 poison. If u wanna some fast cooldown attacks :3

That's great for gold and silver milking, masters+ requires a bit more oomph to get the league bonus and maintain cups.

I do it on master tough... Yea that need quite high heroes lvl to do due to their low hp :b
ikr its not really effective without full heroes but still good for maxing base :3

But then you get hit with huge hero regeneration times. Same scenario.

I too have been boosting both barracks, both spell factories, and heroes when available. I have a TH9 and farm in masters. I find that it takes over 15 minutes in between attacks just to wait for spells.

One solution I propose is to add an additional factory for each type, both the regular spell factory and the dark. This would mean more resources and time are spent on upgrading the buildings and more gems spent if boosting.

To balance out the significant amount of time reduced when making the spells after adding factories, SUPERCELL could increase the production times of each individual spell to make it so that the change is not too drastic but still reduced.
