Donated troops don't show up in Clan mates CC

Most days I tether from my far superior android phone to my ♥♥♥♥ Iphone so that I can play COC @ work. Every morning the first few minutes of the tether is very slow (not sure why). It involves trying to visit someone, attack someone, or watch a replay, and just nothing happens for a while. So I shut the game and restart it. This happens a few times usually not more than 5 and then things are up and running for me just as if I were on wifi.

Today I donated a dragon to a clan-mate, and nothing happened. The troop doesn't go away and I don't get EXP. I turned phone screen off, and then back on reloaded app and tried again. Poof my drag disappeared, I got 20xp and in the clan chat it showed that he was full. I went on a raid, and then after was bored and wanted to poke in on my bud and see what army he was going to use the drag with. His CC was empty. His camp was full. I'm thinking what a turd he sent that thing into battle by himself? Then I wondered, and texted him. Come to find out he never received the drag. But he acknowledged on his end that in clan chat it also said his CC was full and I couldn't donate any more to him.

So where'd the drag go?!



Tl;dr: Donated drag to buddy, poof drag is gone, clan chat says TY for your donation 20xp, drag is NOT in his CC.

Hmmm, strange I haven't had issue before

From what I've seen this usually happens because of a poor connection like you mentioned. One side of the donation has a poor connection so the troops leave, experience is given but the troops never show up. I have heard of the troops showing up hours later but it's never happened for me.

This happens quite a lot in my clan, so annoying when u just about to go to battle and u get no troops and cant donate for 20 mins.

I just had this happen to me. Donating dragons, it says donated, then I noticed no credit in troops donated column. Ends up the dude didn't actually get the dragon, even though both our screens said he did and he even thanked me for it. I am on a very fast wifi connection connected to a 20mb fiber circuit. The connection is perfect. This is some kind of bug.

same thing happened to me yesterday about to make a post of it, then saw this.

Maybe he got raided, and his Dragon came out to play.

Just one idea, although the poor connection and/or donations happening at the same time are a likely explanation as well.
