At what trophy count should I farm

I have a level 9 TH. Right now I'm farming below a 200 trophy count and I don't like it cause everyone has more experience than me. My experience level is 47. Right now it's very difficult to get gold here especially when people with over level 55 experience have all the loot.

I want easy targets and don't forget my experience level is 47 so make sure everyone is at my level or below. I don't mind if they're a few levels above me.

Also I just went up to a 1000 trophy count a few hours ago and couldn't find more than 50k gold between 200-1000 trophy count.

So lvl 9 TH, 47 xp lvl what is the trophy count to farm.

Ties

Anywhere between 1100 - 1300 works fine for me. You should find out what works best for you :)

Sorry to say it, but there is almost nothing you can do. You really messed up upgrading to lvl 9 thay early. I am lvl 65 and am nowhere near ready to upgrade my town hall from lvl 8 to lvl 9. Your problem is that there is a penalty for attacking players 2+ TH lvls lower than you, yet no one with a lvl 8 or 9 TH is as weak as you. Play around with trophy ranges around 1000 or so and see what you can do, but now that you have done this there will never be any "easy" raids again.

I just wanted the xbow. If that's the case then I'll have to stay under a 200 trophy count and sadly i didn't know about this penelty until after I upgraded to lvl 9 TH.

Yeah, a lot of players fell into the same trap. To my knowledge, I dont think Supercell has even confirmed the existence of these penalties, but they are certainly there.

I did the same thing upgraded my town hall to level 9 to get a xbow and extra wall pieces and now I can't find resources.
I dropped from 1300- 1400 to 1000 trophies and now the people at this level have less than 1000 of each resource and I waste my gold searching or they are more powerful than me I am level 55.
I should have stayed at my trophy level, now my game is becoming unplayable.I also lose more resources when farmed than I did at level 8.
Supercell should inform players that there are restrictions on farming when you upgrade the town hall.
I am happy to spend a little money on this game but not going to spend money every time I want to upgrade a building or research so I will probably have to quit the game now because this is not fun.

sub 200 (gutter) is useless for th9. I would say you can either reset and get back to decent th8 in 30-60 days, or go up to 1200-1500 if u invested buying gems.

As stated it is a trap many people follow and once they realize this its too late. Maxing out all defenses and buildings before upgrading TH is paramount. To give you a example I'm currently level 61 at TH 7 and I come upon 300k-400k resources raids often.

Did you gem to TH9?
If you didn't gem then trust me when I say the best thing to do right now is to start over.
If you did gem to TH9, then I know that you will find it hard to quit now because you have invested money in that account. So good luck.

Your best range to look for loot will be 1300-1700 but keep in mind that big dogs like me will be up there and we will prey on you because there will not be a loot penalty when we are matched against you.
Also TH8's and 7's will prey on you too because there will be a loot bonus for them.

This isnt necessarily true all the way through. I've been at TH9 for months now, and explore the ranges regularly. Currently, looting is pretty easy between 1100 and 1400. Be patient and expect to skip up to 20 or 25 bases, but you'll find places with black n gold walls and up to 400/500k resources.

That said, I'm level 88 so have some great attacking troops. Get you army camps maxed asap and level your troops, be patient and it'll be fine.

What TH are you? Also this thread doesn't matter any more. Right now I'm level 76.
