Fed up with Strong Th 10s being matched to rushed TH 11s in war!!! Rewarded for being greedy and penalised for patience to max base before upgrading! Sometimes get 6 x Th 11 against our 1 Th x 11 ..... The warden and eagle defence makes a massive advantage that a Th 10 should be matched to another Th 10.... WAR IS BROKEN!!!
The individual weights of some items could use some tweaking but as a whole it isn't as bad as all the squeaky wheels wanting greased make it seem.

That's just as bad!
War match-ups are determined by the collective war weight of the clan, not individuals. Some members will have a mirror that doesn't match their own. This is bound to happen, and it's part of the risk we take when we initiate war.
The truth is that a max TH10 can and should be able to take a rushed TH11. If you can't, perhaps it's time for some self-reflection. Learn some new strategies, and start hitting those TH11s!

No, op is right, war matching is broken, at the moment it is rewarding defenceless/rushers and punishing maxxers.
Th lvl should not be matched.. Since currently there are issues with Max th 10 being matched with th11.. The artillery and warden should be waited a BIT more
Agree 100% SC is ruining this game. Giving th11s free wins by matching them against th10s is total ♥♥ !!
I agree with OP completely. I think wars should match th same level to same level. It would get rid of engineered wars. Really, max offense th10 troops with a th8 weighted war base? It would encourage people to max out their bases rather than trying to finagle the system.
war match ups are just crazy lately. We just got matched up in a 15 v 15. They have 1 th11, 5 th10, 7 th9s and 2 th8s. We have 3 th10s, 9 th9s, and 3 th8s. How is this even close to fair? And yes we reset the search every 10 minutes to try to find a fair matchup...
Something should be done to make match ups more even. Been really jacked up since th11 update. And please stop the bunnies, or just make it part of the game so everybody can use them...
terrible idea. so basically a max th9s is unstoppable. Since he'll never be matched with a th10. It's already bad enough that there is a huge group of people who simply refuse to go to th10, now you're basically encouraging people to stop progressing in the game.
Progression is what makes supercell money. For many, progression keeps people interested. once the game gets to a point where there is no more progression, then the game stalls out a bit. Less addiction, less gemming. Rushers quickly find themselves in a hole, as they get raiding constantly for resources.
For the guy saying he should do defenseless th11, i hope u try it out and find out how gruesome it is to get raided for max resources everytime you lose a shield. Unless you're really patient, u will eventually give up or gem.

So I agree that war should be based on TH vs TH not by the combined weight of the clan, not upgrading walls is a great idea, not building xbows is even better, heck some people don't even build their infernos......you have a bunch of people that will do anything for easier opponents.

Id be happy to be matched to a rushed TH 11, but as the top TH 10 in my clan (we have no Th 11s at all), whenever im in a war then enemys number 1 is always a strong TH 11.
Last war for example saw their TH 11 get 2 stars off me with his lvl 25 heroes, lvl 5 warden and maxed witches and 3 stars off our number 2.
I was only able to get 1 star off of him.
Th 9s were given freeze spell to help them against TH 10's i dont understand why TH 10s were given nothing to help them against TH 11s
don change plz.. i am quite happy 2 starring rushed th11... they usually only 1 star me :cool:

Same, in a recent war we we're matched against 3 th11 an de have none. They all had EA however their hero levels were all in the 10-15 range and only one had GW at level 5. We won that war quite easily.Quote:

At TH8, the goal is to understand everything about hogs, understand valk AI, and understand how to use a KS. These are assumed to be perfected by the time you reach TH9. its fairly obvious that completely maxed th9 eg walls and heroes forget that they are stronger than the majority of th10. rushed, average, new, moderate th10's dont have all lv 10 walls and 30 heroes so restricting them to only th9 would be a roflstomp. that being said the defensive capabilities of even a poor th11 is far greater than the capabilities of a relatively poor th10 defending against a th9. yes infernoes take the biscuit but decent heroes, decent attacker and decent army = success. flip to the th10-11 argument and even a very strong th10 is going to find his army strength severely whittled down before they can core a decently designed th11.
some times it's not only rushed th11, but also almost max 11 with our near max th10. ( th11 AQ40-BK40- GW8 ) our th 10 ( AQ34-BK32) how is it fair. Max def with eagle with new troops lvl.
believe me it's really unfair for the clan which they feel unmatched for them.
Yes our No.1 can take him 2 stars but not always + they have the advantage to 3 star No.2 from our clan while we can't .

Don't pat yourself on the back. You advocated skipping the most fun and balanced TH for wars, and still know nothing of warring. TH10 is way too badly balanced in favor of defense, and wars are won with offense. Bringing a TH10 is a huge liability when you can bring a warden. If you're going to be confined to two stars, at least you'll be able to get two stars on an 11 as an 11 and have a much higher chance of success on a TH10.Quote:

I totally agree. Like what kind of war we get most of the time. Recently, in a 15vs15, we have 4 th9, 4 th8 3 th7 2th6 and the opponent...... 2 th10, 3 th9, 5 th8, 4 th7, 1 th6.... Worst of all they are all approximately maxed... What are the chances of our win... The war match criteria should be more balanced.
