Farming while Archer Queen is upgrading TH9 strategy?

Anyone got a good strategy for attacking with no Archer Queen at TH9? Mostly trying to farm DE.

With the AQ in Masters 3 league, there has been no shortage of Dark Elixer, using the Super Queen strategy I can find a base with 2k-2.5k DE no problem, get in and get it. The getting is so good right now I have decided to max out my Royals before upgrading TH, instead of at level 20 or 25.

The problem is, though, when my AQ is down for an upgrade. I pretty much just set my game down for a week. I have no idea what attack to use that isn't too expensive, and gives good rewards. Anyone have a good strategy? I am basically useless without an AQ, can hardly get 30% with Giants and BK, and no chance of getting deep to the core to the DE.

Any ideas?

Or GoWiPe for the week and work on walls and just maintain DE.

4 EQ GiWiz works too.

4 EQ Go Lame (My personal reference to GoWiPe) is almost unstoppable for 2* and loot-to-core attacks. You don't even need your AQ for that turd...

drop to crystal 3 or crystal 2, and use 16+ giants with 1 healer and 1 heal spell and archers.

In all honesty, quickest way to farm (kind of boring though) is building all gobs and hitting quick, small raids with about 4-5 gobs per node on bases with a bit of elixir/gold in the mines/drills. You can get tons of attacks in like this and find dead bases a long the way in low silver. This is coming from a max TH11 that did this to get there.
