Trophy/Matchmaking Rebalancing?

perhaps more of a concern than idea but.. my village Shadowlaw is currently sitting at 2787 trophies and it's TH8
anyway the concern is the fact that I get raided by townhouse 9's and lose like 30 trophies a pop sometimes even 40, which I find quite ridiculous

given that I'm trying to make the climb to Champion and I can hardly even find townhouse 8s with 10 trophies, so it's quite vexing. soon as my shield/guard ends and I log off there's already another TH9 instantly on my ♥♥♥♥ getting a ton of trophies from me yet I can hit next for like 30 minutes to an hour and not find even a decent loot or a decent trophy count [mostly 3-6s]

I literally lose up to 30 trophies on TWO STAR attacks by people a townhouse higher.. it's quite ridiculous, is there no TH8s in leagues above me I can attack or something? even attacks on TH9s net like 10-15-20 trophies at best during most of my searches...

also aren't revenges supposed to give more loot and or trophies? most of mine are 0 trophies... :(

any ideas or are TH8s just not supposed to be that high?

There are very few TH8s at that level, so you won't be able to find many of them. Other players can get 30-40 trophies on you because they are lower in trophies than you are; it has nothing to do with your TH level. Revenges are also based on how many trophies you have versus how many the player you want to revenge has, so if they are all showing up as 0 offers, they must be in gold or low crystal.

I see. well damn that sucks, guess I won't make it to Champion League on TH8 :( guess it's time to upgrade, was trying to max my walls before upgrading but I get attacked too much with 6m elixir sitting around and 40k dark elixir for which i also have no use [all buildings, lab and king upgrades done]

haha hasn't been that long that i've had my resources full maybe a month so im not too late.. already collecting gold so i can upgrade townhouse and put all of that to use ;/
