[IMPROVEMENT] Destroy the Cloud

At higher leagues as you all probably know it's a pain searching for bases. So I thought of a possible way to eliminate this wait time. Perhaps if Supercell Clash team could somehow remove the minimum cup offer of 5 (I believe so) to a lower 2 cup offer minimum or 1 cup offer. I believe this will make it easier to get more bases high in the league. But then again most Legend League players probably would rather not risk a 2 cup for a deduction of 30 or 40 cups.

But In my personal opinion this will help other Legend league players who just wants to attack and get to a higher league.

If there is already something like this as always, please do let me know. I do my best to not make double threads but if I did miss a couple one please do let me know. :)

Why would you want no wait for a 1 cup off? You would end up with more cups with a wait and then getting 6+ cups.

There's a much easier but more involved fix which is to stop constructing matchmaking around trophies levels. It should be TH based regardless of league meaning a TH11 can find any other TH11 in any trophy range. This would solve the cloud problem and the issue of TH10+ hiding in Silver league.

They just changed it so you do NOT have to sift through +1/-40 bases... I don't think they will change it back.

The best solution I have seen for getting rid of the clouds is to clone Titan+ bases and allow players to attack these "virtual" bases. The attackers get trophies and loot as usual. The defender is a computer, so loses nothing (no penalty is applied to the player whose base was cloned). Cloning of shielded and guarded bases can take place as well.

That could work as well. I've always hated lower townhall getting destroyed by those lower league maxed out townhall players. Thanks for your feedback!

Well you do have a point. Perhaps just an option to turn off minimum cup offer?

Virtual bases sounds good. But I don't think they'd add that. I like the idea of @jeebs.

I don't think SC will let me get the Titans win bonus for destroying a TH11 with lvl1 infernos and TH8 point defenses.

They just increased it.... It was foolish to assume increasing trophy offers and forcing people to defend more frequently would do anything to combat the cloud problem. Bottom line is, as long as nobody has a reason to go on defense, nobody will, and the amount of defending players will never be able to support the attacking players. Add to this how discouraging premium troop, hero, and spell prep times are to most players, and the reality that you will almost surely lose on defense, and a league bonus isn't enough to lure players high enough in trophies to effect the clouds. Unless defenses are balanced, clouds are here to stay, unfortunately.

I'm totally with you wanting to find a solution, but wouldn't that create trophies out of nothing? You could then end up, theoretically, with every player in Legend.

There has to be an exchange of trophies, rather than creating new ones for every attack.

Then TH1's will be at the top of the leaderboard.

You need far fewer troops to win, you can do it much quicker and 3 star every single time with a few barbs.

remove the shields you buy with gems. everyone up there is searching and are hiding behind shields they bought. if everyone buys a shield, they rarely take a defense.

i dont understand how so many people are up there with the clouds the way they are, that cant be fun can it?

This is a miserably terrible idea. So as soon as someone upgrades to a new town hall they all of a sudden unable to find bases below them anymore? You don't even get a chance to get up to speed? You unlock infernos but cant afford them yet so you get to get crushed all of a sudden by guys or are professional pushers in Titans and LEgends?

As much as everyone complains about "playing the game the way it was intended" you guys sure do try and pigeon hole everyone into a single style.

There are professional War players. There are professional pushers. There are professional donators. There are professional farmers.

I pushed a few times a long time ago and I really have no interest in pushing again. Not only because I think staring at clouds is dumb but also because I play to have fun, not stress about how I am attacking a base. When I lost I got legitimately upset. One loss could ruin a whole day of pushing. But it also made me mad at how easily I got picked apart the second I logged off by people who won far more trophies than I was ever offered. If I was being offered 40 stars for a 3 star then I would have no problem when I lost 24 when I logged off but I was being offered 6 trophies and losing 24-40 the second I logged off. It is the same as now, I am "hiding" in crystal and yes I am picking apart bases for 400k/400k so I have no problem when I log off and I lose that much loot.

Also, why is it an "issue" for TH10+ to "hide" in silver? Its not like they are finding TH3's. The only people who think it is an issue are those that like to push and think there should be more people higher up so they have more bases to attack. Like I already stated those people dont want to play the same way as you.
