This base is easy three star.
Even with level 3 hogs this base can give three star.
If you making for war, throw your storages out and give more protection to your defence.
Example: Your south archer tower is easy to break.
Try more complex design and centre base design.
After December update TH 8's are easy two star/3 star.
You will only get 2 star if the attacker do some mistake or inter disconnection.XD

Please explain more thoroughly how to beat this base. Also, do you have any suggestions on how to make it better? (Besides saying you need a different base, it seems that's the only feedback on this forum anyone has.) Also, this base is designed to hopefully defend against GoHo users. Lvl 6 Teslas (I gotta get those up) can 1 shot wall breakers (it's easy to do it from a different angle but most people that don't know about the teslas will go right from the top) so it'll be hard to get your Golems and Wizards and stuff in. 2 Small Bombs at the bottom take care of WBs trying to get into the middle. And I know surgical hogs would be easy in the South but if they deploy them in 2 groups on 2 different sides of the AT spring traps will do work. Also, the storages are their to protect the ADs from Dragons (I know, because they're easy to use and we've all seen them fail before people think their bad but you should underestimate them). As for the DE Storage, that's just to help stall for a little bit.
Core too open, even gowipe should be able to easily 3 star this base. Top compartment can be completely opened up with 4 earthquake spells.
This base is symmetrical. I'd advice you to design a new base without symmetry in mind.
I know this base is symmetrical. I've already said it's symmetrical and that I wanted to try something knew. Please actually look past the fact that it's symmetrical and towards the base design? Also, I didn't really have symmetry in mind (I didn't have asymmetry in mind either) I just wanted a balanced base and here is how it turned out.
I would not want to try to mass-drag this base; it would fail. To be clear, I consider any War attack on a TH 8 that gets less than 3 stars a fail. So you have stopped more than half of TH 8s (at least) from getting 3 stars. Well spread ADs that cover each other, Storage covering ADs, a mass-drag nightmare.
So, now they have to GOHO, GOWIPE, etc. I also consider this a win since even those TH 8s that can do these attacks mostly suck at them; these attacks are hard to get right. In my opinion 1/4 of TH 8s you will encounter even stand a chance of 3 starring this base. What you are asking is how these 1/4 will do it.
For GOHO I would probably use 4x EQ to take down the walls on east or west where they get close, opening a path to the centre. However, using 4 EQs here doesn't leave me many more spells so I am not convinced this is a solution to your base. GOHO might be a different story but there are still some big spaces to travel and guessing where the traps are would not be easy. The temptation is to attack from the top with GOHO but that will likely fail.
So, given that most players at TH 8 will fail to 3 star this base and the enemy Clan will probably end up using a TH 9 attack to take it out, after having failed a few TH 8 attack, I would call this a solid War base with the one caveat that it might be susceptible to EQ can openers.

:) Thanks for the good review! Like you said I'm hoping to tempt them to attack from the top, and if they attack from the East or West with EQ they might not get the DGB if they are going GoHo. I'll try to make sure that they can't EQ from the East or West, but every base can be beaten, you just want to make so as little % of the people attacking your base will be able to defeat it.
DGB set at the top can be triggered by 1-2 hogs. Not good. also, the base is a little thin. An attack from the side could rip through it. Side ADs look like they can be hit with cc hogs or loons. This base is weak to hogs and dragloon, but some changes could make it better (most notably ridding the base of symmetry, this makes it too easily predictable). Another change that MUST be made is to not put all ADs in the same compartment. This is heaven for GoLo attack variants. Best of luck!
