Since Ive heard/& had myself accidental usage with gems
My suggestion is that for every rush to builders You must enter a 4 letters code to confirm it.
I once had the game running in my pocket and it accidently used all my gems for some gold which i absolutly didnt need.
This feature can save alot of frustration from players and keep everyone happy
Doesnt have to apply on barracks and drills boosts since they dont cost too much anyway.
I agree with this is worth it.. Because happened with me. I used my gems accidently, but now i regret.
This code would only be to confirm that it is actually you that decided to do the action and it was not clicked by accident.
I suggested this back in Dec before the update because my 2year old would spend my gems. Please do this, she is now mad at me because I won't let her play clash
Small pin of 4 numbers should do the trick :)

Assume your village is your phone and the buildings are various applications . Would you rather put applock to all of them or put a pin for the phone ? same here : In the settings , an option " Gem Usage " must be enabled so that you can use gems .
If not enabled , whenever you are trying to use gems , a prompt bog appears " Please enable Gem Usage in the settings " ( No link to the settings here ).
Such way , you can easily manage your accidental gem disasters. Its better than remembering many pins ...

great idea but they'll never do it.
this is also why I'll never buy gems, I accidentally spent a ton and could never justify spending money on something that randomly disappears with my phone in my pocket.
this is why casinos have the "max bet" button and in general they won't let you delete your account unless you ask them.. they know the game is addicting and that people will come back to accounts if they are not gone, and accidentally press the "max bet" button with no way to get those funds back. :)
It shows how much they care.... about the bottom line and keeping you addicted and spending.
If people are addicted it's their problem
it shouldn't be harming supercell"s incomes anyway
They would enter the pin.
The idea of this suggestion is not to waste gems on things unintendially. That is just frustrating
