Because you reduced the drop rate, people noticed. People complained. If people are complaining in large numbers, it should tell you that the drop rate (reduced for whatever obscure reason) needs to be increased. It needed to be increased as soon as you reduced it. To leave it reduced for months, even while complaints are stacking up and reports to support are filing in, is ... well, what is that? Please explain.
