My farmig startegy I use 4 giants 4 wbs 60 goblins and the rest archers. Works very well for me.

Send the giants to distract then put wallbreakers in, send barbs first then archers to clear the way and then send gobs to get the resources ;)
I just discovered a new tactic using 3 dragons, 20 giant, 2 healers and 3 wizards it is costly but incredibly effective
Um at a cost of 184K of lix it would want to be effective. But hardly what id call a farming army! farming by definition is raiding high levels of loot with low cost troops.Quote:

I used to use more gobs when farming in silver but farming in gold league there is too many upgraded wiz towers covering storages that wipe out gob hoardes in seconds.

I prefer an all hog rider army they start getting good at lvl 32...
When I was town hall 8 I used only barbs and archers. I would que one barracks with barbs and the other 3 with archers. Very cheap and fast, and worked great for me. I was around 1400 trophies.
40 archers, 6 giants, 6 wbs, 118 goblins.
