Help for war attack on a White Flag style base

Hi guys,

i need some help with this attack, im thinking of doing GOHO from 9 oclock but not sure where the DGB is and if there is even one

I'm not generally a big fan of GoWiPe but any semi-decent GoWiPe generally 3 stars that base in my experience.

My clan doesn't usually look favorably on gowipes so im looking for a hogs option lol

We've crushed versions of this base a whole host of ways. The easiest is probably some version of HoLo. Loons to take out some of the cannons/ATs that are outside the range of ADs, then hog the rest.

Yeah, go old school. GoWiPe should get you atleast 2, probably 3 stars.

I like what Lunatic said, loons for the exteriors, hogs for the middle, some gobs to clean up real quick. I'd bring a couple giants for the AT's to shoot at while the loons take care of them, then once they're finished drop your hogs. All heals for your 2-space spells, 2 poisons for your dark spells.

You're right, but a Holo on a base like this is just too much fun.

Play with the guy's mind....

^Absolutely agree, you've got to troll kids where you can, and looning the outside and laying a little bacon on the interior of this base is just too good to say no to, despite obviously a surgical hog being a perfectly legitimate option for wrecking shop

Those are pretty easy to gowipe especially with the extra 30 seconds we have now. Your clan shouldn't give a ♥♥♥♥ what strategy you use if it gives you the desired result

What do Golems/GoWiPe give you here that 8 pekka doesn't?

But HoLo just abuses this base. Going from a superior strategy to an inferior strategy would seem strange to me, even if both resulted in 3*

I'm surprised no one has said GOVALO here.. and he shouldn't be learning PEKKAs when he can be learning valks because valks and witches rule TH9 three star guaranteed two star attacks.

My point is regarding his clan's strategy. I don't agree with a blanket 'don't use gowipe'. You use whatever you can to get 3 stars. There are multiple ways to skin a cat and get 3 stars. Most folks who are th8 are more comfortable with gowipe and I've seen it work almost every time with this base.

Agree. However, it seems like whenever I would recommend a GoWiPe, I find that 8 pekkas works much better. So I ask, what does GoWiPe give you here that 8 pekka doesn't?

And I still submit that a Holo should just abuse this base, if not an outright surgical hog attack.

Well, if they desire to 3* a TH8, they should get comfy with hogs. GoWiPe is just an awful attack for 3* most the time. Further, see mass pekka comment above.
