For Devs who still think PBT is ok.

IT"S NOT OK AT ALL!!!!!!

I played and timed it so that I would take a 45 minute break before joining my clan for the beginning of a war. When I came on, I had a Guard that had 10 seconds left, and at the end of that 10 seconds I got booted for personal break.

So let's be perfectly clear on the stupid PBT. I was not in the game. I was not in the game. I was not in the game. Do you get that? Does it even register? It's already a perfectly stupid and asinine idea to begin with. I don't need Mommy Supercell telling me when I can or can't play.

This isn't the first time I've been screwed over by this system either. Quick question. How many paying customers do you have to lose before you realize just how stupid PBT and the TH11 update really were anyway?

I am sure the flame trolls will be ready to jump on how great the TH11 update was for them, and how the PBT never affects them. So What. That doesn't change the fact that very real people who were paying customers have either quit or stop putting their money in this game. It really doesn't matter who thinks everything is great for them. It matter whether or not Supercell is losing customers, and I've seen paying customers leave the game. So yes, they are losing customers.

Don't worry, the next update will have a sister app that works as a calendar. The only way to play successfully is to prioritize your time around the game.

Village guard counts you as being online, and for good reason as you're not available to matchmaking. if you received the VG by weathering a weak attack, it doesn't eat into your PBT (cause weak attacks also grant a 30min PBT extension), but it will stop your progress towards being logged off for 15 minutes.

Such an app would be completely unnecessary. There's already a clock in-game, and if one is consistently bumping into PBT issues, then your problem isn't finding ways to "prioritize your time around the game," it's finding time to put the game down....

I totally agree with this. The x3 thing is just stupid.
Just make the break longer and have it a 1x thing where they have to be off for say 30 minutes or so.

It's great when your about to attack in war then you get booted off. You get attacked and your heros get put to sleep. Then you get to wait for nearly 2 hours. Or be like me and noob out and not realize, attack without them, and fail miserably.

Ps. I keep my heros full time sleeping now no more guarding. :facepalm:

This horse has been flogged. They have made it abundantly clear there will be no removal/reversal of the P.B.T

OP, you know full well PBT has nothing to do with SC telling you to take a break and everything to do with adding your village to the attack queues. Blame SC for pooring naming and nomenclature, but blame yourself for hanging out in a League where you won't be attacked.

This can and did happen pre-th11 update. Learn to use your timer, something you never had before. Maybe learn to review your troops before committing too. Nothing in your post is a direct result of the th11 update.

Odd, why would someone start a thread detailing how they don't understand how the PBT works?

Yes daddy you are correct except for the fact that it happens more often. It also never happened 3 times in a short period. I'm actually fine with the pbt aside from being kicked off 3 times in a row. Being punished for good defenses shouldn't happen.
