really need help, victim of cyber attack, being harassed

I'm trying to find a way to help some friends who were victims of a group of players who abused the reporting system and they were slapped with a 2 day ban and the reason given was inappropriate name. Their names are not inappropriate. It was a mass report which I'm sure was all administered by automation.

Or concern is that this group responsible is now cyber stalking these players.

I was in contact with one today when they joined a clan I was in "checking up" to see if their accounts were still suspended.

What can we do to avoid thsee people and stop the harassment. I've looked over terms of service and it appears we have a case of harassment and interference of a persons use and enjoyment of services.

We have an idea on how to prevent them from tracking us down but we cannot get past the automated replies we get from supercell and get actual support in resolving this serious issue of harassment and cyber stalking.

Have you guys been talking on Global Chat? You should never go out there, a lot of trolls abusing a broken system.

Regarding to the cyber attack; Sadly, the only ones who can help you on this kind of troubles is SuperCell, so keep trying to contact them. And if this get serious, which I mean, like they access to personal info. or data outside CoC, then I recommend you to go to the police of your country (Don't know which country are you from, Cyber-terrorism laws vary).

Tru dat. The only time you should go to global is when you need a clan member in a hurry, or want to soak up attention for your shiny new crystal league badge. Otherwise, what she said. You could try sheltering them in your clan, I guess. Pictures of the harassment help immeasurably, advise your friends to get screenies of them being stalked, and what is being said to them, if anything, and send them to Supercell.

If they were banned for offensive names, then they only have themselves to blame

As a victim of serious cyber stalking, I want to ask you the extent of this.

is it only their accounts being reported in game?

The names are not offensive. That is just the reason that showed up in the pop up that was displayed when they attempted to log in. It just shows how random and automated the reporting system is. The group behind this admitted that they did a group attack that resulted in the ban.

The original conflict happened when several members of a clan leftmthe clan because it was not a good fit. There were questionable practices going on with members using mods so after the war was done they all left. A few people had been co-leaders in this clan and since they had sent clan mails they were tracked down via those mailings to the new clan they arrived at and were engaged in new war. This is where I come in. We had connected on an outside chat for backup purposes of communication. I was told that 4 accounts had been placed in a 2 day ban. That day we had a request to join by a player who admitted the former clan placed reports to prompt the ban because they were mad at them. So now these people are stalking them and disrupting other clans with random visits.

The huge concern here is will they continue their attack and abuse the reporting system to place additional bans upon these accounts?

Multiple people are affected by this. It caused the clan that I was in to pretty much disband because of the threat of being attacked when we were all innocent by standers of a personal grudge and attack on others.

Supercell will not respond with anything other than automated replies.

We just want to play the game and not worry about further harassment.

Keep responding, and responding, and responding to their responses. That's your best bet on gettin a real live human being. If you took any screen shots of conversations with said stalkers that would help. And tell these guys to change their names. A totally innocuous name won't net a ban.

Can you share their names? Not the modders but the multiple people banned for an offensive name. You say their names aren't offensive at all but perhaps they are offensive and you just don't see it (yet).

The names are a fruit, a bug and a randomized spelling of a proper name. Absolutely non-offensive names.

Have you seen a lot of the names floating around in game? There are some pretty bad ones out there. Everything from sexual innuendo to down right horrific. I hardly see where a fruit can be offensive.

These attackers found a method to harass people by abusing the automated reporting system. I appreciate that supercell can not apply the man hours it would take to personally investigate every complaint however abuse of the system needs to be addressed when I member reaches out.

We seek no retaliation on these attackers. We are just in need of a solution so that we don't find our accounts banned for 2 days or sadly permanently all because some grudge a few select people have against players who did not want to be in their clan and left.

Reminds me of playgrounds as a kid. I'm taking my toys and going home and the punk bully follows you home and throws rocks at your window.
