The 'contact us' button doesn't show up on some newer devices as well, from what I've read here.
Try this:
Tap on the cog wheel, tap on settings, then tap on help and support. Now tap on the magnifying glass. Type in 'contact'. A contact us form appears at the bottom of the page.
I have a farm on an old iPhone 3 I set up for my daughter. I tried accessing the help and support via the cog wheel and sure enough, when I tap help and support I am taken to supercell.helpshift.com instead of the regular Help page where you can click the blue contact us in the top right corner. I scrolled down the web page and found a section titled Contact Us. I clicked it... guess what it said? "You can contact us via the in game Help Function":saywhat:
I have to admit I amused myself though. At the top of that page is a search box where you can look for answers. I typed in "why aren't you more helpful" and it took me to instructions on how to send a thank you letter. :p:p
I'm ready to go all Jimmy Fallon on y'all now... :smirk:

So, the above page was added like 2 weeks ago and indicates there SHOULD be a button in help shift which is NOT there. Odd...
Unfortunately older iOS versions are no longer supported in the 3rd party tool we use for in-game support. :( There's not much we can do about it since the tool is not developed by us. I urge to reach out to our support using this link: https://supercell.helpshift.com/a/ha...=web&contact=1

I got the link to work on my old phone. I bookmarked it and hope it still works when I need it. Thanks for posting it.
I gotta say though, it's a real bummer this is the answer. Fact is, not everybody reads the forums and I'm sure there are lots of players having issues who won't see this. It seems a shame that the 3rd party tool you use doesn't provide support for all players. Afterall, Supercell took the time...and it took a lot of time... to make it so the game worked on these older devices again last year after that summer update where so many had problems, because they realized just how many players are using them still. Perhaps you can whisper in the ear of the one who writes the check to this 3rd party and tell them to pass along the message that your little link should be on the page that comes up when a player on an old device taps those words help and support and expects to get help and support?
Humm... That being which device, and which iOS version? I will report this to our support/web team, but since it's a 3rd party tool we are using, it's up to them to look into it. Can't give any estimates when/if it gets fixed. But I will report it!
Since it's a 3rd party tool, we are more or less bound to their minimum requirements. I will however discuss this with our support people and see what could be done.
