Healers no longer heal heros...

I have been playing this game for over 2 years. Nothing frustrates me more than an "invincible" troop. I think that if you removed the healers ability to heal heros, it would force people to play with a little more stategic planning.

If they are looking for invincibility to walk through a base, they should rush their way to TH11 and max out the new Grand Warden.

Regardless of a base set up, and regardless of the new update "multiple healer ability significantly reduced" it's not good enough. 5 maxed healers on a level 20 queen still makes her invincible.

I've seen some of my clanmates defend against a queen walk. It isn't that OP and will fail without a good strategy or against a well designed base.

It has already been nerfed with healers having less effect if stacked on each other. It is very possible to design a base that can defend against it.

It does seem a rather lame strategy. Not that I think people who use it are ♥♥♥♥♥ing, they are playing by the rules. Id do it if my queen was higher than level 20. Still, it just doesn't seem right.

Queen walks and queen charges makeup the most technically difficult and beautiful 3 star strategies in the game. You have no idea whatsoever what this suggestion would do to the game. There would be a mass exodus of all of the top
5-10% skilled players from th9-11. This would kill the game.

Exactly this. Queen walk i the most skilled attack in the game. Taking it out would be like saying "We punish you for being a good player".

Taking into consideration her line of sight and range. Counting point def at each point along the walk or charge to determine how many rage spells will be needed to keep her up. Each taking your turn then the next person adjusting slightly and after 2-3 hits finally getting that 3 star on a max th10?

QW QC SQ or whatever variation you may be seeing is not OP at all. It takes a fair amount of skill planning and luck to do it successfully regardless of the level of AQ. Of course an attack with a high level AQ is going to wreck that's the point of upgrading them.

Also keep in mind if you aren't getting attacked with a qw you'd like be seeing another golem or two or some other heavy troops or whatever in the the attackers army comp with those rage spells freed up for use somewhere else.

It's a trade off.

So far off. Most likely in your scenario the AQ would path off in the wrong direction get targeted by multiple point defense as healers get picked off by ads and they'll lose the raid under 50%.

Suggest you both actually try it and figure out what you're talking about before you knock it.

The other advantage to mastering the strat yourself is an understanding of subtle tricks to help defend against such attacks.

Maybe it's not that noob can 3 star but your base is bad. Consider how there is anti-drag bases or anti hog.Suppose you could make a base to counteract a queen walk dummy.

From personal experience I can say QW/SQ are not easy. At least not easy in the sense you can drop the AQ and healers and get an automatic ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I'm pretty sure some of my attempts have been shared by the defender for the amusement of their clan mates.

Being in a fair play arranged war clan and spending hours between several th10s on one 3 star has nothing to do with the queen walk being "the most skilled strategy in the game."

People count tiles for other strategies too. And they count tiles while pathing balloons for golaloon and lavaloon.

I personally never said that it didn't require skill to 3 star a th10 with queen walk. Of course 3 starring any good th10 takes skill, and, perhaps, some luck. But the 3 stars I see with other strategies against t10s seem to involve more skill than the queen walk. Unless its a ♥♥♥♥ base, in which case it essentially nullifies the beauty of the attack.

But it is a little frustrating to see a level 40 queen rip apart 30 percent of your base before the attack even begins. People always say, "build your base better", as if one can build their base in order to defend against every single strategy.

I do find the queen walk attacks impressive. At the same time, when I see them, I cant help but to feel like it seems like they are exploiting some kind of loophole in the game.

No , she would be invincible until there is an air defense. And it would be stupid if Supercell removes that ability , IT WOULD BE THE MOST STUPID THING I HAVE EVER HEARD IN COC !

I know that other strategies involve counting tiles. I've just taken my max th10 to 11 a month or so ago and I have a 100% max th9. Prior to upgrading to th11 I was using both accounts at the very highest lvl of war. I've used every 3 star strategy at th9 and 10 that has been possible to execute, for the last year at least with both accounts maxed.

The reason I say queen walks/charges require the most skill is because you have to plan and perfectly execute a walk which takes anywhere from 10mins-1 hour. Depending on how well the base is designed. And then you use hogs or laloon or dragons or valks. Split your heroes or meet up with your ks. Lightning strike/eq air defence, inferno towers, the queen, cc, sweepers. Snipe an air defence with hogs to protect your healers. Or a combination of all of this. You simply cannot get another strat that requires more planning, skill and most importantly, different phases of the attack. All of which need to be pulled off perfectly. When you get it right it's the most op strat in the game. Which is how it should be since the difficulty level is the highest.

Going back to "build your base better". At th9 make sure that your air defence are 4 tiles back from the outter most wall. That will put your air defence outside of the range of their queen but within range of their healers. A pro can still queen charge your base, but will probably skip it while nexting since 30 seconds isn't a lot of time to plan against a good layout. Also be aware of sweepers. You don't want your sweepers to push the healers to safety. If your th10 I can suggest similar strategies but it gets a lot more complicated so let me know if you want to open that can of worms.

Not trying to start a war mate. I'm just very protective of this strat. I've been playing since 3 months after launch. Not interested in cups. It's all about war for me and this strat is the highest you can climb. I feel numb 3starring a base with golaloon or goho. It's just too simple easy and boring.

Now more healers over a certain point means less effectiveness on one troop. They helped you out with the update last year

Maybe they should bring back seeking air mines target healers...that's what started this whole cluster**** situation with invincible heros...supercell screwed the pooch on that one.

Read the above comments. Super queen, which is a 2 star strat used for farming DE storages has been nerfed. When they nerfed it supercell specifically commented that they would not be nerfing 3 star strats (which use 3-5 healers). If you don't understand the implications this suggested nerf of this thread would have on the game then you need to Get up to date with current 3 star strats at th9-11. YouTube onehive and gadi hh, queen walks. Start with entry level queen walk goho and laloon and make sure to check out my personal favourite queen walk govaho with split heroes.

Oh God. Not another "i hate queen walk. Queen walk is stupid. It takes no skill. Healers shouldnt heal heroes. When my base gets hit by max heroes, I lose. WAAAAHHH" thread.

Well Thats history bro..they r using it with lavaloon. Queen is killing thr defending queen, cc and two or more ads with help of mere 4 healers..n then the guy got his complete lavaloon army to smash your left over base. The war which we r in atm, 3 guys off top 5 got raided with this and all 3 starred

Healers are already useless. No need to make them even more useless

Well it doesn't looks like that u need too mch skill to use this strat..or guess it's better to say that evry1 has grown used to this easy 3 starring strat rather than using their brains to make out an efficient start against a base to be attacked

You need plenty of skill to execute this type of attack. If your top 5 guys are TH9, it isn't extremely difficult to master, but at TH10 it is. I suggest you try to before making assumptions based on facing one clan. Either they are very good or love carrots.

Anyone who is complaining about th9 queen walks wrecking their bases needs to learn to design an anti 3 star base properly. For example - Have no air defences within 3 tiles of the outside wall of your base. This is as basic as using dgbs for hogs or stacking 2 black bombs on the 2 air def furtherest away from your queen.

U got all sort of anti 3 star bases out there. And so technically no one should be 3 starred if one follows all those layout suggestions, bt still u get 3*. And it's not a normal thing that a maxed th9 which resists so mch to these traditional style easily fall prey to qw/Sq strat. People were 3 starring th9 and 10 bases even before these strat came to existence..so try n do a lil hard work then looking for easy alternatives to 3 star..anyways my base was anti to these styles as well.. Got No ads out on those first layer of defenses and even though the guy breaks in, manage to kill 2 ads, kills cc and do like 40 % damage before his original army was deployed.

Well this assumption aint based on a clan..my clan is really successful one winning almost 95% of those wars..
Except when we encounter those bunnies or this qw/Sq strat guys

It will make sense just to heal troops, NOT heroes.

Ive been playing since 3 months after launch. I've watched this game develop and maxed a th10 and th9 account along the way which I have used almost exclusively for war. Specifically arranged fair play wars, where both clans are in the top 1% of skilled raiders. At th9, at this level, you setup your anti 3 star layout without any weaknesses and hope to get lucky. They make a plan, execute it, adjust it second time round and get you 3 starred within 1-2 raids. Generally at th10 the top 10s will be 2 starred and the bottom 1-2 will be worked on in the same way for 3 stars.

i have personally 3 starred only 3 100%max th10s and seen 2 others 3 starred, all raids were queen walk Laloons.
If this nerf was implemented th9s will adapt and still 3 star your base. Th10 however will suffer. I don't think it will be possible for a th10 to 3 star a 100% max th10 anymore.

While defending at th9 in general gameplay, 30seconds isn't really enough time to plan. If your base follows all the tricks of the trades to defend against queen walks, you'll be safe 99% of the time. I can help you with this is you would like.
At th10 your layout only has to be decent not perfect and it won't be 3 starred.

I honestly hate getting in the middle of these arguments, and I honestly love this strategy for 1-2 star DE farming raids... Also, seriously hate the people continuously picking up the last 5-10% for 1 star on my normal design.

Anyways, now that that's out of the way. Add 1 tile of range to air defenses? Won't decimate the attack like preventing heroes from being healed, but it'll take a hella lot more to use successfully.

Do I want this? No.

Although I have not used hero walk again since the first nerfing, I would totally leave if it get's nerfed again. It's one of the sole reasons I am building up my heroes so that I can just have fun with them when they are maxed. I earnt it I should be rewarded with it just like the next guy should.

Any th8 will get wrecked by a th9. That's the nature of the game. If not this strat then they'll use another for the same result.

More healers? Do you have any idea of the army compositions of 3 star queen walk raids at th10 and 11? There isn't any spare camp space for extra healers. This would be the end of a max th10 being able to 3 star another max th10, with the exception of absolutely terrible layouts I guess. Do you really think that's a good idea?

I think healers shouldn't change. If something should change , they should get 2x in defense and poison immunity so that they can heal heroes who are defenses !

there is no point for so much fuss over the queen + healer popular attack. i have been using healer giant attack for months, and some other people use airstrikes. there is no defense pattern that can provide for all strategies at once
