I once took 2 lightning spells into a th10 war attack thinking they were freeze spells.... Wasn't happy! Lol
Scouting the #3 base while I waited fro the last spell to finish for my attack on #4. Forgot to switch back to #4 and ended up doing a double zap quake mass drag on a base that was better for ground attack. Result was a 90 something % 2 star instead of guaranteed 3 star.
We still won the war easily but had to do cleanup on that one.
I've got the ultimate noob attack for you:
A little while after the update that brought freeze spell to TH9s, I was prepping for a GoLaLoon style attack in war. Most times, my troop comp changes a little depending on what the base I'm hitting requires. So with this particular one- my kill squad was taking down the AQ, CC and one AD. I was zap quaking a second AD, and then using 2 hounds on the remaining shallow ones.
Scouting, planning were done. Sure three star. I cooked up an EQ, two rages, and two pretty blue spells. Army comp done. Launch the attack, kill squad goes in... takes care of business and then some. I throw the EQ on the AD.... and then my heart sinks. I've drop the supposed lightings on the AD... only to find I'd cooked up two freeze spells. Brilliant. Double tapping an AD with freeze spells. :facepalm:
Never mind that I was sidetracked at work, or cooking on a small screen. No excuse for that nonsense. I have no idea what I was thinking.
Or bringing your AQ and then realizing you cooked 4 heal spells instead of 4 rage spells. This will be the battle where your AQ will core no matter what and seek out the tesla farm. She will probably walk past the DE storage to get there and end up with a 49% loss! All pain for no gain!Quote:

I was nexting, and I had my finger barley touching the top left of the screen. After a few nexts, I moved my finger and accidentally deployed 2 barbs. The base was a town hall 10 with no loot. I ended the raid with 20 cup less.:facepalm:
Clan War attack a few days back - running a goho - drop first few hogs and trip a giant bomb next to a wizard tower so I select heal and drop it to keep em going. Then I move the screen and accidentally drop the remaining 3. :(
