#1 Make trophies worth something (league bonus way up)
#2 Remove loot bonus for attacking higher TH
Sounds about right way to fix many issues, don't you agree?

My dark elixir storage is level 6. Those low-level lightning spells can't do much damage on my storage and I do revenge them.
Getting rid of the loot bonus doesn't seem right.
A TH9+ has 4 storages, so they can pretty much distribute the loot in 4 quadrants of the base.
L4 troops will barely make a dent into a single quadrant so without the loot bonus, its just not worthwhile to even attack.
If the people above TH7 want to drop to the low thousands to farm on the TH7s that isn't fair so of course they would make loot penalties on them. They have extremely powerful troops attacking bases that have weak defenses, and then just sit around preying on them in there so called "right trophy area" so of course the penalty and bonus are completely fair, and the TH7 don't have any way to even get dark elixer except raiding the higher THs I can understand how if they raise there trophies really high to lightning your dark elixer can be annoying but you can easily destroy there base while they can't even touch yours, so supercell doesn't leave them with much of a choice. I mostly am seeing one sided arguments from low trophy, high TH farmers who just want to steal more from lower players. Dropping your trophies down and raiding a bunch of low people is just like lightning dark elixer. They can't stop your troops that are maxed out when there defenses can only go to a certain level.. All I'm saying is all you high TH need to either go high in your trophies, or expect to get your dark elixer zapped as a trade-off for farming on weak people.
Ever been up there with a high level TH? There isn't any loot. And if there is, you need to spend more than you get to get even some of it. Penalty is a good idea but the bonus messes things up completely.
People who don't read forum and understand the current system don't realize, that the bonus turns into penalty and all of the sudden those 500k loots turn to 50k loots and there goes yet another player.
You say us high THers don't see the other point of view, but I daresay that goes equally, if not more so on the low TH folks. Something one hasn't experienced is harder to imagine. We saw what TH7 was, moved on and face new challanges. Each and every high TH was once a low TH so we know what it is like. Now we face a wall that stops progess very effectively, caused by the same system that was put to aid the low level THs.
Many of us would gladly go fight bigger targets and more interesting battles, but it is not possible. The league system had the opportunity to correct the curve, but so far it failed miserably. It takes 1-2hrs to make a big army to really fight in the big leagues. It takes 20mins to make a farming army and costs 1/4. Loot per battle can be equal. Do the math, which one allows one to make 7million gold upgrades?
